I reckon it would do ok damage.

Compared to axe/ridill (which you don't have)
*You will lose DoT during the TP phase.
*You will feed massive amounts of TP to the mob
*You will gain TP faster (if my mental arithmetic is right)
*You may make up for the loss in DoT with extra WS

Worth a try, parse it... see what happens. (TBH I have seen worse things happen in merit partied)

Organics+Ridill is retarded. You gain some base D on hand, crit+3%, and you lose 50% DA proc and quite some delay. That's comparing to the best dualwield option, though. But as an Organics owner, you're not interested in being the best. You want epeen. Now, there's still a better option! DAt-swap Organics onto some weird, ugly black axe and go nuts with more mainhand D, more attack, more accuracy, +5 ACC for ridill, and a whole extra hit on WS. Fuck off with Organics. SE should've made it rare/ex. Fuck.

On a more interesting note, I finally found a RDM who wanted to refresh my WAR. Kept my 5/5 berserk, fulltime hasso WAR alive and also kept haste on me. Rune Choppa! 118 DEX, 26% haste, capped hitrate... had to resort to TPing in a STR ring since nothing better. Between that and the awesomeness that is Fort Axe I can't possibly imagine why someone would want to dualwield.

I've been on/off using Rune Chopper with Refresh in merits on my new char since she still doesn't have haidate / belt. It is pretty fun lol.

And a 0.5 damage modifier instead of a 1.0. Vorpal Blade is not inherently inferior to Rampage, and in my experience Organics/Ridill is at least a match for Maneater/Ridill if you have sword merits but not axe.

Ridill/Joyeuse beats the hell out of it at birds, and I'd imagine is better at mamools also, but Organics is underrated in comparison to Maneater.

meritpo is fine too i guess, but only with ridill. you're better off using gaxe there, though.

He was totally devoted to zerg everything down with his KC WAR, after some years he started leveling DRK however, and quit

There is a person in the dynamis shell I attend that has a kraken for his drk, but has come war/nin man/kraken a couple times. I usualy parse dynamis just for shits and giggles, and each time his damage was pretty horrible. His other gear is respectable, but he was only barely in the same vicinity of the local below-average DD's numbers. About the only thing that it added to the event was me getting twice as many slam dunks from orcs in the face thanks to the TP feeding.

I know dynamis does not equal meripo/einherjar/etc, but surely the same thing applies. Your damage will be lackluster, and the peple not failing will take the heat from the all-you-can-eat TP buffet you are feeding the mob.

Yeah. I get better results with org/rid than man^jugg/rid. It let me drop my axe merits and keep 8/8 sword. That's probably why it wins parses for me. Hell, I don't even own an axe anymore, so the extra inventory and gil is nice. I only merit with war as well and can't allocate 8/8 GA to really use it at it's full potential. My combat merits are tied up by my event DDs. Really wish they'd bump that up again...

As far as the KC idea, just no. Use it when you're with friends just fucking around and whatnot, but you take a significant hit on your overall damage with it compared to other available options.

For DW without rid I'd say go man/joy or jugg/man in merits. The damage is pretty close, so it's going to come down to your merits/gear/mobs/food/etc that dictate which set up would be the best overall damage.

For bigger stuff if you really want to DW, man/jugg. Brass Jag+1/Jugg can be pretty fun in northlands dyna, gods, fafnir, random shit. Can pop off some pretty nice true strikes.

And yes, I know the shit storm of comments you're all wanting to pop off about DWing faf and such about how retarded it is blah blah. Try to keep in mind that's not the issue I addressed here. It's what's fun, yet still functional, as a DW war.

i do have ranger levelled and fully merited. I ended up retiring it due to my linkshell having four yoichi's, and countless other great rangers in ls, so i wasnt using it much.

#1 You shouldn't be getting ACC roll at birds - if there's at least 1 2h DD in your pt it's more efficient to do Chaos / xxx
#2 If you're getting piano madrigal you're losing the damage you could be getting from other songs
#3 If you're getting piano madrigal AND still need to eat sushi you're losing out on songs and food...

I took a piano Madrigal from time to time depending on the camp / food I wanted to eat / TP gear I wanted to play with on my Kikoku NIN and would end up outparsing the vast majority of DD, 2h included, that I parsed against.

While yes, if a 2h DD asks for piano madrigal I'd say get the FUCK OUT, but I mean some of the best MNKs around are only going to hit 90% overall ACC with a lot of effort while eating meat. Upping that ACC to 94-95% at the expense of a Minuet III or T1 march can sometimes mean higher parse overall and better EXP.

I'm a princess DD (or at least I used to be) and because of that I understand the princess BRD / COR mentality to an extent. At the end of the day though, I had a pretty average party on my fairly unimpressive atm WAR on my new char the other day with LS mates and we pulled 25.8k/hr steady with COR roll at lower birds. As long as people have their heads on straight and you dont have 5 DNC 1 SMN pt you can still get within 2-3k EXP/hr of maximum (at birds at least) without much effort.

If you're on Rng, cool, if you bust it out on Drk when SE is up for laughs, whatever, if you're rocking that shit full time like some people I used to know... because obviously the most expensive weapon = the most powerful weapon... go die, get raped by necrophiles, get resurrected by a necromancer, used as a sacrificial component/sex slave, then die again when Brock Fucking Sampson busts in and skullfucks the necromancer before firebombing you.

If you want to have fun with Kraken just level WHM and have fun with it on there. Taking Kraken onto WAR is a horrible idea that's only fun if you like making people sad. And puppies sad too.
