Both the blog entries and the comments are very interesting and mostly well-written.

the first one is decent, but the second one barely makes any kind of point at all. calling someone a "cog in the machine" on the basis of them being obnoxious, which is possibly the most non-thought-provoking opinion you can have, is pretty vague and juvenile.
