Siblings, who has them and whats your relations ship with them?

I know I have a younger brother by 4 years, and i hate the fuck! I haven't spoken to him since I lift my house. I know when I was younger me and him would get in to brutal fights about once a month normally ending up with holes in the wall broken windows and broken bones among other things.

We where just to opposites, I was a person who valued reading a good book, being physically active, and friendships. But my brother didn't give a shit about himself. he went days without showering, wore the same cloths over and over again, and was a lazy fuck. I remember every day when i would come home from lacrosse practice, i would notice that he dropped his backpack at the stairs and would lay on the couch watching cops till dinner, eat and then do the same. It probably didn't help my parents let him act that way, while i would work my ass of trying to balance all the stuff i did, and it still wasn't enough and i know that ate away at me.

I would say i have a sibling rivalry to the extreme (i would often think about killing him or just wishing he would have never been born)

so i ask you /bg/ did your relationship with your siblings end up like mine, or is there a happy story out there?

Anyway... I have two older brothers, 27 and 30, i myself am 22. Between the ages of 0-17ish i was always closest to my eldest brother, he was a father a figure to me, as my dad wasnt around. My 27 year old brother, would bully the shit out of me, but he had issues, he wouldnt go out with friends often, although he has his fair share, he suffered alot when people would bust his balls, he always took it to heart and would therefore take it out on me. My eldest brother would always rescue me <3

When i got to 17ish me and my now 27 year old brother shared a FFXI account, and since then our friendship has blossomed vastly. I watch sports with him, co-op video games together, have a few beers now and then.. etc.. i dont really do this alone as much with my eldest brother much, but some of the best times of my year are when all 3 of us are together.

I also have a 15yr old sister, i met her when i was 17 along with my dad, id like to bond with her more, but y'know that feeling you get when your the only one trying to converse... i get that all the time with her... shes lovely though.

I have two older sisters one is 16 years older and the other is 19 years older. I get along with both of them really well though growing up I felt like an only child since they moved out by the time I was old enough to remember.

I have one older brother, two younger step brothers, and one younger half brother, and for the most part we get along fine, me and my older brother used to fight when we were young but not anymore as we got older, my younger brothers even though two are step brothers I've know them for majority of their/my lives so I consider them a big part of my family

I have 3 older brothers, and I'm the only one who was born outside of the US. When I was younger, I couldn't get along with one of my brothers, but got along fine with the other 2.

Now that I'm older, we all get along just fine. The brother whom I considered to be the closest to was sentenced to 6 years in prison about 2 years ago, so I see him every other weekend if I have the chance.

I have a bunch of half siblings that are half my age and a twin that was separated at birth. We first met in high school at a house party to celebrate our football team going undefeated. It turns out that we both played football, same position, but from rivaling schools. I still can't get the truth about us out of my parents, but his mom came clean and admitted that he was adopted. Last I heard from him, he joined the Air Force and is stationed in Iraq.

2 younger brothers (21 & 12) & 1 younger sister (17).

Sister and I are on really good terms. We shit talk eachother whenever we're in close proximity, always in good fun though. Take eachother out for lunch & what not sometimes.

Youngest brother I rarely see because he lives with his Dad a few hours away (across some water). Almost exactly 10 years younger than me (off by 8 days).

21 year-old brother (my only full-blooded sibling of the 3) I see everyday. All he talks about is money so he gets on my nerves a lot. But he's fun to hang out with, and I got all my drug hook-ups through him.

i got a lil bro 2 years younger than me. when were little shit went down hardcore and we'd fight so fucking bad but ever since we got a bit older and started developing reasonable sense its been good. i feel for him since our mother passed away and dad's busy all the time, so i try my best to make him a bit more comfortable... even if it means i gotta sacrafice shit.

i never understood ppl who dont get along with their siblings, i understand that ppl are different and situations arise but still... you're sharing blood with them. they be the closest things to you, no?

I have an older brother who was a severe manic depressive who basically tormented me most of my childhood. He was in and out of mental hospitals growing up and thats probably the main reason I feel Psychology is the biggest pile of shit profession in the world.

He was a lot bigger than me and had retard strength when he got into his aggressive moods so there was no way me or my parents could control him. I did end up somehow kicking his ass one day and he mostly left me alone after that.

We don't really ever talk these days but he has completely gotten over his depression and is genuinely remorseful for the stuff he did to my family growing up. He is also married and a fully productive member of society so I am glad things worked out for him.

I thought it was some wild shit too, but I was actually supposed to go to his school but it was overcrowded. One of my friends kept telling me she had a class with guy that looked like me, but I didn't expect him to be a twin.

younger sister by three years. we hated each other growing up but get along fine now. it's nice. she's a born-again christian, and I'm the gay kid who loves experimenting with drugs, so we're nice foils for each other. she keeps me in check and I encourage her to let go and enjoy life. good times.

I am fully convinced that the key to loving any family member is distance. worked for my parents, worked for my sister.

I have an older brother who is 22 (I am 20)... When we were kids we were always at each others throats, we never got along, and my father refused to take us both for a weekend because we fought so much. He moved out when he was 17 and has since moved back, and we get along fine but I wouldn't be hurt if he left. Living on his own made him really selfish and he lacks respect for the other people he lives with. He also thinks that because he is over 18 and pays rent he can disregard what my mother says despite the fact that he is living in her house.

I also have a younger half-brother who is 14. We have the same dad, and he has always lived with my dad so I don't really see him often. He is a cool kid and I wouldn't mind seeing him more.
