Nope! Kinda wish I did have a sibling nowadays though, but I don't really know what I'm missing. You usually only hear either "omg we fight all the time I hate my brother/sister" or "omg it's so awesome we're like peas in a pod ^^". I'm guessing it swings between those two, if you're lucky.

oh right, half-siblings. forgot about that. I have one who is absolutely psychotic, worse than any of the members of my family by far. she's a huge drama queen but she has a huge heart as well so it's hard to hold it against her. but she can be incredibly self-focused without even realizing it, and that gets old.

then again, she was given up by my dad and her mother when they were teens, and raised in an adopted family, which I hear can screw with your head. so I can't really blame her. I generally just keep my distance and try to bond with her during the rare moments when she's showing enough sanity to be tolerable.

for what it's worth, she is far more fun than any of the other members of my immediate family. definitely the wildest child besides myself. so that's something nice.

Younger brother (21) and younger sister (19) for me (24). My younger brother is an odd character but we get along other than the fact that he's ridiculously devoted to working (40hrs a week) all throughout school which is completely paid for through scholarships.

I only dislike how much he works because he's always refusing to take off work to hang out and do shit but whenever he's free he complains about not having money so we don't do anything then anyways.


My younger sister is a handful. She smokes too much pot, does too much shit like xannax, aderal, and strange shit like other antipsychotic meds (not prescribed). Other than my disdain for her friends (and her admittance that she doesn't like them but refusing to ditch em) we get along.

My brother is cool, but he kind of fucked up his life when he got this girl he'd been seeing for like month pregnant. He's a good dad, and he loves his kid, but his wife is fucking worthless, refuses to work, is a manic depressive and depends so heavily on pills that he has to keep them hidden from her or she'll take them all, cannot be around any kind of alcohol or she'll flip out and drink it. She is terrible, and isn't even a good mother, but my brother stays with her for whatever reason.

My sister, on the other hand, is a fucking bitch. I hate her. She started cheating on her husband, a friend of mine, and asked for a divorce when he was deployed on active duty for the National Guard. He got some leave to come back and try and work it out, and at a new years eve party they threw, she invited the guy she was cheating on him with. She's such a drama queen, and I can't stand to be around her, but her and my mom are tight, so I have to fucking deal with her.

One older (24), 2 younger (17 and 12). I (21) get along with all 3 well, probably better with the oldest (despite him hitting me up for money a lot...) and youngest. The oldest and the second youngest (17) hate each other, they literally will probably never talk again. They were always at each other's throats and never liked each other.

Whoever said distance makes better relationships is right. I never really enjoyed my family much, but after moving out about 4 years ago (and several hundred miles) I have better relationships with all of them and my parents, whereas previously I never really had discussions/talked to them about stuff happening in my life. Hence, I'm never moving back home unless I hit rock bottom. (inb4economy)

I've got one brother, older (26). I'm a mooch from our mother, but I'm also still in college. He's had a degree and a stable job for going on 2 years, but still lives at home. He doesn't pay rent, doesn't help with food, and even has his fiance and her sister living off my mother as well. He uses people until there's nothing left, and only picked this girl to marry because she's dumber than a rock and he'll be able to manipulate her forever. I have an incredibly gigantic extended family as far as siblings are concerned: I am the oldest, and only child from my biological parents. My father has four sons younger than me by three women and my mother has a son from her second husband. I also have two stepsisters and a stepbrother from my mom's current husband.

I get along with and love all of my siblings, but I don't really keep in really close contact with any of them except one brother (mom's son). We grew up together and, sadly enough, he is in the hospital right now with brain swelling and a concussion from a car accident that happened last night so I'm kind of freaking out hoping he'll be okay. One of my stepsisters is pretty irresponsible (is 21, married and divorced, has two kids and one on the way and no man)...but overall I am thankful to have a family that gets along generally well.

I'm 21. I have 2 brothers who share the same mom and two that share the same dad.

The two that have the same mom as I do are 24 and 9.

My older brother, I lived with from when I was two up until I was 14 so I'm closer to him than any of my other brothers. I still talk with him at least once a week and its like we never moved out of the same house, really.

As for my 9 year old brother, I've only met him once, and I was 12 or 13 so he was like 1 or something. Have only ever talked to him once other than that so I can't say much about him except that he's the only one of the 4 that you woudln't be able to tell was my brother (I'm half black half puerto rican, he's half white, half puerto rican). He lives with my mom, who I also haven't seen since that age.

As for the two brothers on my dad's side, one is 27 and I think the other may be 30ish? I've never lived with either.

My 27 year old brother is pretty cool. I've never lived with him, but he's always lived in the same city. He has a closer relationship with my 24 year old brother from my mom's side since they are closer in age. He would always pick my brother up to go out and hang out and while I was left out being the runt, he'd always come in and play videogames with me for a while before they left and after they got back. We still talk today, at least once every couple weeks.

My 30 year old brother, I've met twice. Once when I was 6 and once when I was 13 or 14, so I don't really know anything at all about him except for what my dad has told me. He finished his PHD a while ago in some field and has 2-3 kids.

I have had a older step brother and step sister since I was about 8-10. Honestly I wouldn't have had it any other way. Besides getting along with them great, I am now an Uncle which is amazing Sisters daughter is 4, brother just had a baby in April.

Of course me and my brother do occasionally get in a small fight but its never anything that we let get to our heads.

Dad and mom are total badasses and I love em'. I have three sisters (27, 26, 20), oldest is the coolest and about to have a baby, second is getting hitched, and third is a TOTAL psychobitch. We're a pretty small family though; only remaining grandma lives in France and my cousins are scattered apart.

I'm the youngest but I have 2 sisters and 3 bros. We were really close and used to do shit all the time; but ever since they got married we distanced ourselves ;x I mean they're still cool but obviously it ain't the same.
