Rita is starting to get really annoying. Almost cant even enjoy a episode because shes nagging the whole damn time. But yes rita being one of his victums would be fun twist. And im putting money that quinn is the one that shot Deb/Lundy.

Pretty much what the others said. Dexter didn't kill off Doakes, Lila did. As for Oscar, he was a drug addict that tried to kill Dexter. I'd like to think that was justified.

Quinn is officially the new Doakes. That ending.. jesus, I knew I had a bad feeling when the guy pretty much started bawling like he didn't know wtf was going on, but didn't he admit to beating them and was charged for rape? He isn't 100% clean.. but doubt that will make Dexter feel any better about it.

Was pretty disappointed with the lack of hanging with Trinity, especially since he was all aggro. What people seem to overlook is that he is a very smart, resourceful person, I am pretty sure he has been doing his research on Dexter, probably knows that Kyle isn't his real name, etc.

Not the point, Dex was responsible for Doakes death. Hell, I bet half the "Murderers" in prison didn't directly kill anybody, were just accomplices but it is still on them.

Which is what I mean, NOW he feels guilty for an innocent death when he's been responsible for some before.

And Oscar tried to kill Dex...because Dex went after him. That was self defense himself. How can it be justifiable for Dexter but not for Oscer.

That is the point. In the 2 situations dex had a hand in killing someone who didnt deserve it, he wasn't acting out his dark passenger's urges. A matter of circumstance isnt going to bother someone who is established to not feel anything. Seeing as how the thrill and completion of the ritual is the only time he does feel anything it stands to reason that this would be the only time he'd be torn up by killing the wrong guy. Doakes died by lila's hands. If dex were just okay with offing anyone for any reason, ignoring the fact that this show wouldnt exist or be the same, he wouldnt have held doakes captive for that long.

And the second the guy insisted that he didnt do it throughout the whole ritual, considering that the evidence didnt point to farrow specifically at all and that they were making too much of a point to have dexter insist going after him instead of what he should be doing, the twist at the end didnt really surprise me at all.

As soon as Dexter stepped out of the bathroom/whatever and Freebo ran off, Oscar rushed him with the knife while he was just standing there. Dexter didn't initiate it.
