I had a thought while talking to a friend, maybe Quinn is a serial killer and transferred to learn from Dexter, while Dexter is learning from Trinity

Also if Dexter thinks Trinity is better... ( espec avoiding forensics until now ), then surely Trinity has seen dex coming a mile off?

Trinity is better than Dexter at keeping a family. I don't think it was implying that Trinity is a better/more perceptive serial killer...even though he's been doing it for a long time.

Personally I think it's up in the fucking air, there are many good reasons. Anton could be driven for revenge from seeing Deb and Lundy rekindling their love, the guy was in the armed forces there is no way you can single him out. Trinity having bumping into Lundy, realizing he was getting too close, killed him in a style that would frame the Vacation murderers.

I don't see the Quinn accusations, he strikes me as an asshole but he can be a pretty decent person sometimes.

Quinn couldn't even steal money from a crime scene without getting caught, I really doubt he shot Lundy & Deb and will probably prove to be nothing more than a minor annoyance to Dexter. Doakes was badass, Quinn is just retarded, I hate every scene he's in! ~_~

I may have missed it, but doesn't Dexter usually use the police database to do a fuckton of research before confirming a target? I felt like he just heard the basic breakdown from Quinn and Batista and went straight from there. I'll have to re-watch the episode to confirm.

I think this innocent kill was just to move the plot along or a filler episode, make Dexter focus on Trinity. He attributed this mistake because of his decision to let Trinity live longer, said something like, it should've been Trinity on this table. So not sure that they'll play on his guilt much, if any.

Dexter did do some research, along with using what the other detectives found. the point is that he rushed it due to wanting to have it all, family and dark passenger. I'm not sure he'll realize this, but he'll probably keep trying to do it.

I'm honestly under the impression that sure the assistant was caught dropping the body off but that still doesn't rule out that the photographer in the crime. For all we know they were working together to kill the models. I may have to go back and watch the photographers confession on Dexter's table to see if it can mean more than "Yeah I killed her so what?"

It was a fairly dry episode. Answered most of our speculation but didn't give us many questions to discuss for NEXT week.

It did give us one though... Who the fuck DID shoot Deb and Lundy? My roommate suspects the reporter, and I'm inclined to agree. She has motive and she was the right height. After all, if she's about to get canned for lack of stories, then why not MAKE a story? Since she's already got the best chance at exclusive interviews and whatnot, it makes sense.
