I have to admit for some weird reason, when Dexter first entered the bathroom my thought process went;

She fell in the shower like Trinity's sister...she's in the bath full of blood did she kill herself? Ohhhhh Trinity got her before he skipped town. :O Then I think it did pan to the shot of the mirror angled so she could see herself before as she died which confirmed it.

If he'd only written cunt on the bathroom wall like mentioned earlier...priceless! xD

Just watched the episode and was reading the past few pages. Saw their post and was gonna mention something about it after I went through reading the rest.

I watched the finale yesterday afternoon on demand. I had a cloud of despair over my head the rest of the day. So freakin sad.

Absolutely fucking amazing ending. I can't believe they did that! And for all the hate Rita got, I actually think she was a necessary part of the show and I actually liked her. I mean, you can't expect a wife to give her husband free reign to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants. The whole premise of the season was to show that Dexter had commitments and a family. It would be weird if Rita didn't care about where Dexter was or what he was doing.

For me, the finale was more than "thank god that bitch is dead!" and was fucking chilling. I'm curious to see how the whole thing plays out next season, usually Dexter ends pretty conclusively. The next season is eagerly anticipated because it's fucking Dexter, not because of some crazy cliffhanger.
