FUCKING DEBRAH
FUCKING DEBRAH
Dexter will win all of those.
Lithgow better win supporting actor, he was fucking brilliant this season.
Just started this series at season one...I've been avoiding it because I figured it would be trite Hollywood bullshit...but...I was wrong.
I'm actually incredibly impressed at how well the writers capture the inner dialogue of a sociopath, it's...comforting.
Yeah, Dexter (and I'd go as far as saying most HBO/Showtime shows) definitely isn't a hollywood type show, the writing is very well done and it doesn't resort to gimmicks to get viewers. I'd suggest hurrying to the end of season 1, it's fucking epic and all the season Finale's on Dexter are ten times better than the crap on the main cable channels.
I thought I did too. Then I found out what it was really like to be hooked when the season finale of S1 blew my fucking mind.
My problem with season 1 was the first few episodes seem to force their swears. I still love it though.

December 15, 2009 - A big change is occurring behind the scenes at Dexter. In the wake of Sunday night's acclaimed finale, which also broke ratings records for Showtime, the show's main creative force -- executive producer and showrunner, Clyde Phillips -- is departing the series, says the Hollywood Reporter.
A replacement has been found for Phillips - 24 co-executive producer Chip Johannessen, whose previous credits include Moonlight, Millennium, Dark Angel and Beverly Hills, 90210. Johannessen will take over for the upcoming Season 5 of the series.
Phillips explains to the Reporter he is leaving for personal reasons, to spend more time with his wife and daughter, who live in Connecticut – Phillips has been spending the majority of the year in Los Angeles, where Dexter is filmed, since the show began four years ago.
Phillips, who previously created Suddenly Susan (surprised?) and the awesome FOX cult series Parker Lewis Can't Lose tells the Reporter it was a "hugely difficult decision" leaving Dexter, noting, "I had complicated feelings about it. I lived with the people on the show for four years that were the high point of my career. But I was missing out on my family."
I wonder if he didn't wanna kill off Rita Hm
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck
I'm so afraid that Dexter will become more action oriented like 24 now.
So to sum it up for 2009 epicness:
Tiger Woods is a whore
Kanye West pwned Taylor Swift's acceptance speech
Michael Jackson died
Trinity killed Rita
Wow what a year USA!
I think he meant that they were a cheap gimmick
