I enjoyed the Moloch stuff - explaining the dark passenger etc etc.
I did too, I just hope it's kept to the books. I can't remember any time in the books explaining that Dexter saw his mother chopped up like in the series, so hopefully it's just the difference between why Dexter is the way he is in the books and in the show. I just don't think something paranormal would translate well into what the writer's of the show have made for us, especially if it's introduced in the fifth season.
If anything about Dexter goes paranormal, I'm fucking done with it. I will NOT subject myself to another BSG.

The writers are too good to resort to that.
Regardless I think that this season will be their biggest test. They need to have Dexter being a single father be believable and still compelling and somehow still manage his urges in it all. If they screw up this season and the ratings plummet, than maybe I could see them bringing in that sci-fi garbage to try and salvage something out of the show; even than though I find it unlikely.

Why the fuck are we still using spoilers?
because it's about the new and unaired season
Hope they end this better than 24
Yeah, old comment and unrelated to Dexter, but I just really, really hate it when people complaining about "supernatural/theological" stuff in BSG. Were these guys paying attention to what was going on in the show at all? BSG had a religious aspect to it from pretty much episode 1, anyone who failed to see that is an idiot.
but when a certain other show does similar bullshit it's the best show over OMGZ
already had sci fi and religious undertones so it wasn't out of place. Dexter would beSpoiler: show
