Tonight we posted the results to our JP Button 2009 Players Survey. I hope some of you will take time to read it. Thanks to everyone who participated as well! BG received the most write-in mentions among FFXI community sites.

the JP player base with Satisfaction with FFXI survey was great. looks like they say the same stuff we do lol. (majority wise)

im also glad they seem to be excited about rapture. :D

For the most part, it was what I expected. The information about the correlation between satisfaction and when players started/how much they play was pretty cool.

Wow great work! Was such an interesting read, I didn't know that THAT many people use windower, now if only SE would officially allow it or actually integrate the options into the game itself. (We can dream can't we? xD)

The only sites listed were the Premier sites to compare just the Premier sites together. Any community sites were write-in selections in a separate question. BG got treated like any other community site. Same with JPB, FFXIAH, etc. That's all. ^^ I only started counting BG mentions from the write-in portion because of how often it was mentioned. I also learned that people don't know how to spell Blue Gartr.

Next year if we do this again, I think it'd be worthwhile to compile a huge list of common community sites as well and then give additional space for other sites not listed. It'd just be more work up front but probably save me time later when compiling stats.

Great job on the survey, this gave me some information that i've known for awhile but seeing the evidence is nice

Why in the world are Stratics, Warcry, and Vault still being looked at to "represent" the player base and their communities when less than 10 people visit their sites?

I say they throw the premier sites into the new community site ranking system and see how they fare. Then promptly drop them and select community sites that people actually visit to get the interviews.

The % of Windower users (and likely BG frequenters) may be a bit overrepresented due to the type of players that frequent sites linking to JP Button (bias). Still, I have to believe it's a very large % of the PC population.
