I learned with WKC, that Amazon isn't the way to go for preorders.

They kind of lost me with the demo since it bugged out and wouldn't let me leave the crime scene (I spent a good 20-30 minutes retracing all my my steps making sure I didn't miss anything ,and eventually humped up and down all of the police tape trying to get the notification to go under). I ended up just having to hard close the game at that point. Killed my enthusiasm.

They did the same thing with Bioshock 2 for me. I got Heavy Rain for $35 with free DLC though, so I can't really complain too much.

As for the demo, make sure you go up the muddy bank in the back next to the train tracks, then speak to the detective guy about what you found, then have another look at the body and any other clues you might have missed on the floor, your character will say something like "Well I should get going", then head back to your car.

Yeah my guy had told me "I should get going" but wouldn't let me go back to the car. I had done the stuff up the muddy bank, and down the train track, and the other police guy had already left as well.

Are you fucking serious? I knew I should have just rented it on gamefly. I thought they would be so high in demand, that I wouldn't be able to play it for weeks.

Either way just put he full money down for it. Tomorrow is also my day off and a new episode of Lost so it will be very well worth the monies. I think once I platinum the game I might trade it towards Yakuza 3. NO ONE pre-ordered it in my town lol.

Yeah I've had this pre-ordered for a few months now and mine is shipping out the same day. I picked the free, 5-7 day shipping or whatever, but I have enough shit going on to keep me occupied until then. Worst mistake of my life was letting Amazon Prime run out, I'd love to play it asap but oh well lol. Free DLC ftw, and we won't have to wait for it by the time we get it since it's actually delayed!

if you pick free super saver shipping there's a decent chance amazon won't even ship it until after the release date, to save money they tend to send all the free shipping copies out at once.

Buy it, beat it, sell it on BG or half.com. most you lose is 10 bucks if you beat/sell it quick enough. I do that with a lot of titles.

True. I get about 95% of day-one games that I want. Its all about getting a free spot in your at-home games on Monday. I usually send something back on Thursday at the latest to make sure it gets there in time before something is released.

That being said, Just found out that this has been shipped. Should be here Weds.

This is why I hate DLC. Gives developers a chance to say "we don't need to release a complete game, we'll just release parts of it later in DLC and make even more money."
