the reason it does not kill him I took from it was it was never to kill him. It was a test to see if you would save your kid. The killer wants to find some who will do anything. Point in killing you is not there you proved you would do anything to save them even kill yourself with just enuf time to find and save. That is my take anyways

he only tryed to kill me in mine because we found out it was yhim, otherwise I do not think the plan was to kill the father if they did everything and saved the kid.

The plot was really enjoyable. Almost like a novel that I'd ACTUALLY read.

But since theres a video game, I'd rather just do that instead

Also I *think* the huge plot hole is that after the 3rd trial you'd have to be pretty much retarded to not see that it says 852 and what is almost definitely "Roosevelt"

Nothing is wrong with that as you can still try and find it out without the help of some of the clues. I did it with just 1-3 and 5 did not kill the guy still saved him, all it does is make you pick one of X number of spots on the GPS this leads you to need some other clue* wont go into details but thats what happened in mine as I let the drug dealer go the 1st time around

... lost one character but managed to save the kid and find the OK.

I'm mid way through my second run through now, and something tells me that the killer is going to be the same every time. Its a "interactive drama" after all. It would have been cooler if the killer was different, but its still pretty damn cool. My roommate came home, and sat down and just watched me play as if it were some thriller movie on cable.

Has anyone else had some major PS3 freezes while playing the game? I have a slim I got at Christmas and it has frozen a number of times forcing me to replay certain scenes. The last time at the end of the Crimescene which actually seemed to remove a character from the end of that scene.

Also, during the Prologue, I completed Ethan's "work" and no matter what I tried to do after that, it would port me back to the other room and made me try to keep completing it. Anyone have any similar bug related problems?

And I must say I was hooked like a mofo. Seems like getting a platinum on this game will be very time consuming and possibly repetitive based on the number of "endings" however I'd love to see all of them, and how they would play out.

Well worth the money as I believed it would be, glad I ended up purchasing it, still have this giant stack of games waiting to be finished however.

My PS3 (80GB) froze as well at one scene. And glitched in another.

Yeah I tried to get the OK dead a few times today ... just doesn't happen. I am sure that you can do it, but only after a certain point.

dunno if atreides said it in here, but on AIM he was like, what if its all just a coma dream? if you watch the Jason incident, Ethan clearly takes the brunt of the impact, and Jason should have lived, so it would kind of make sense. granted its not what they were going for, I'm sure, but like the FFVIII one, I love crazy theories, especially when you can find 'evidence'

edit: loved my 2nd ending so much more then the 1st.

I also take back the 3 endings there has to be a lot more then that... I changed no joke maybe 4 things and my ending was way different.
