well, im gona play it again and try and do things differently. see if i get a different killer.
Well, it makes sense the killer won't change. UNLESS it's one of those games where you have a bunch of suspects. Either way, I can't wait to fix my fucking PS3 ;x

No idea if you played/beat it...don't read my response if you haven't.

That said I'm pretty sure there are not multiple killers, cause I've yet to see a single confirmation of that in like 10 HR threads on different boards.
it seemed obvious to me who the killer was from certain things, but someone had been a dick and spoiled it ahead of time, so maybe I was just scrutinizing said individual closer than I would normally
40 endings? lol
Anyway, I put up a review on my blog below. If you have a minute, check it out. It's my first real game review so I'm not too... confident I guess about it, but whatever. It's just for fun anyway. I touch on stuff I liked and didn't like. Direct link is here: (and there are no spoilers)

There's 18 endings, not 40.
Can you replay a early chapter (w/saving), and then will that change affect the rest of the chapters even if you don't play them in order?
you have to play from that point on, if you do perfect crime 1st the other endings don't require you to backtrack that far, theres 7 endings btw
7 endings, 18 epilogues, yeah. And your explanation of not needing to replay is right, I forgot to mention the whole needing to do the perfect crime and work off of that. My bad.
Meh, guess I need to redo for Perfect Crime ending
I got so pissed at the end. lol
Worked my ass off to get everyone there....

Just finished the game for the first time, my two cents...

Overall it was as enjoyable as I expected it to be, and while I typically have a major issue with replaying games for whatever reason (can never seem to get back into them), I'm almost positive I can grind out all endings with no issue for Heavy Rain.
