Got Platinum this morning. The baby trophy kept fucking me up. I can't count the number of times it gave me an error on the 3rd or 4th prompt for rocking the little shit to sleep.

I managed kamikaze in like 10 minutes. The baby one took over an hour.

The funny thing was on my first playthrough I screwed up the burp prompt but got everything else. I was just having a problem chaining the half circles together. I finally got it by speeding up my motion a bit and then letting the controller center itself before the next one popped up.

I hate those fucking "move the stick slowly" prompts. If you move it the speed of the animation, you fail.

I played through The Taxidermist DLC, and it's very different. It feels really "early," like it was cut from the game early in development. It's a lot less linear than a scene from the main portion of the game and has like 5 different outcomes.

Once the dude comes home, you can move around trying to hide from him, or fight him, or run away. I tried hiding and got caught, then as I was running away there were multiple path choices as I went.

It is really short (took me about 20 minutes), but you can go back through and play it differently.

Major gripe: As soon as I quit back to the main menu, it lost my audio/subtitle settings and proceeded to reinstall the game.

Man this game has been awesome, think I am about 70%ish through it just got to the cemetary with Shelby and Lauren and turned it off. Pretty intense stuff last night, Cutting your finger off, having to confront/kill the dealer as Ethan, and Madison's fucking Dr. giggles shit. I am having a blast so far, playing on what I guess is the highest difficult choice keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time.


I refuse to go back and play a chapter if I felt I should have done something different afterwards to keep it more fluid but fuck after the scene with Shelby at Manfred's shop, fucking missed wiping down the bar on the front door I so wanted to restart to see if they don't end up at the police station and I figure there was a trophy there.

Does it require Shelby to be alive also? I had Ethan and Madison at the warehouse, with Norman off the case since he lacked the gas receipt to pinpoint the murderer. Lauren....I forget what she was up to at the end, but she was alive also if she counts.

This trophy is misleading. To get it, you have to have all 4 playable characters show up to the warehouse at the final scene, regardless of what happens to them afterwords.

No, they all have to live (minus Shelby), I got them all to the Final scene in my playthrough, and missed a prompt for Madison on her bike, so she ended up being put in the police car. Then as Ethan, when I saved Shaun, I put him down to open the door, and as soon as I stepped out I got shot by the police.

For that, I got the 'So Close...' trophy.

Where is the gas station receipt that Jayden is supposed to find? I haven't gotten very far into my second playthrough, but I did apparently miss it my first go around. He died anyway while I was trying to solve the case towards the end. Don't use ARI too much, he starts bleeding from the eyes and nose and eventually collapses on his desk.

But I got a pretty cool scene in the epilogue with him dying. Blake puts on the ARI glasses and goes to one of the scenic areas and Jayden comes out of nowhere.

Does anyone else think Jayden's addiction was to the ARI and not the Triptocaine? Has anyone played through and had him use the Triptocaine every time it prompted you to? If so, what happened?

I'm saying from experience, you don't get the four Heroes trophy if someone dies other than Scott (well, at least if Ethan dies anyway, not sure if you'll still get it if Jayden dies in the conveyor belt fight). Because I got the 'So Close...' bronze trophy instead of the 'Four Heroes' trophy, because Ethan died right at the end as he exited the warehouse on my play through. So I redid it from the Warehouse chapter and saved Ethan with Madison, by not being put in the cop car. Then I got the Four Heroes trophy.

The receipts are from the fight at the club. You have to get the last prompt of the fight to tear his pocket. They'll be on the ground.

The Tripto is a red herring. Nothing changes if you use it or not.

His addiction is the ARI, Tripto is just a crutch to get him through the the pain after it. Though it's pretty bad for him too.

If you do 3/5 of the trials with Ethan, he can guess the address. Then if Madison has it, she can call Norman with it.
