8 hours? what, did you play through it once in one sitting or something? like it's the game's fault you can't see the replay value of a game with a storyline that branches as much as heavy rain's

sorry you can't swing 60 bucks to support niche developers, gaming thanks you for contributing to the perception that only sequels and multiplayer games sell

Game was well over 30hrs to get a platinum. And its a rly enjoyable Platinum because it allows u to see new/different things. Getting all the endings is a must

Dont get it, I love FF's as much as most people on the board. Yet you call fans of the FF games fags? did I miss something? 9 out of 10 people posting in this thread bought FF13 or plan to. I have heavy rain and have played over 20hrs on it.

Its a fun game. Well worth the buy if you do replay games. I keep most of my games because in the end ill pick up a old one or something in a month. I just played MGS4 again. Had it from day one, ya if your a gamer that plays once and never plays again, you wont be buying heavy rain. It will be a Rent. If you replay games heavy rain is golden and worth every penny.

Anyone know how many endings there are? I played through and got the good ending I guess, and I'm curious on what all needs to change, but I only rented it and prolly won't have enough time to go through again.

Essentially there are 7 main endings that cover 19 epilogues.

Got a little bit of a problem. I've had the game about a week after release date and I got to (what i believe to be) the final cutscenes of the game. Problem is, my game froze, and now every time i try to get back into the game (after the loading screen face) my game doesnt even load

I've already tried unistalling and reinstalling the game date, has anyone else had any better ideas if their game is freezing on them too? I hope i dont have a corrupted save, as much as I liked my first playthrough, I kinda dont want to go through again and have to do all the same things i did lol.

Have you tried restarting from the most recent chapter via the chapter select?

no I havent. I guess redoing a few of the scenes wont be so bad, Especially since i messed up the motorcycle part >_>

Same exact thing happened to me. IIRC it was when trying to load up my game after the nightclub chapter. I just had to re-load the game from a couple chapters prior and play through them, and I was good to go.

After screwing up the guide to the All Endings trophy, I have determined that the trophy is rewarded for having all 18 epilogues, not the fabled "7 endings". There are not "7 endings"... in fact there are more than 7 scenarios that can happen at the Old Warehouse. Perhaps there are only 7 news broadcasts, but I've seen everywhere that people seem to think that All Endings applies to seeing 7 endings that occur at the Old Warehouse. I believe the 7 endings that the guides give is just one of the quicker ways to getting all 18 epilogues.

On that subject, if you want to see some material that the guides to not lead you to see....

Yeah the '7 endings' is just a set of guidelines to make sure you get all the epilogues. The trophy dings with the epilogues.
