the game starts slow. It'll take you a couple hours to get into the meat of the experience and for things to really pick up, but once it does, you'll be on the edge of your seat until the end and you won't want to put the controller down. In other words, if you stick with it, Heavy Rain will give you a ride like you rarely see in games.

It's just a shame that this game will probably be overlooked by the majority of PS3 owners, despite it's critical praise. I hope it does well, it certainly seems like it should and I will be buying it. But I will be surprised if it breaks 1 million copies sold.

Hoping for a good marketing campaign by Sony for this game, even though Quantic Dream aren't first party.

I think it's pretty well Hyped / well known. And if reviews are coming out this early it will prolly push those ppl who had it on their radar, just unsure, to pick it up

I think to us that actually follow the game industry, yeah. But I'm talking the average consumer who gets all their game information from commercials. I think for those people, word of mouth will help if they have friends who have bought the game and liked it. But still hoping for a good marketing campaign.

Grabbed the demo last night.

My only gripe is the movement. It feels like the old Resident Evil 1-3 days. It's not horrendous, it'll just take some getting used to.

I've seen some people complaining about the voice acting. I didn't really have an issue with it though.

I'm planning on picking this up pretty early on if not day one.
