Played about 4 hours of this so far (damn classes..) and so far, it's been pretty good. Controls fine (PC version). Probably going to buy it tomorrow (today?).

THe Gamespot Review and the Giantbomb review were very well written. I wish my PC could run the game, but ill be happily content with my PS3 version.

thinkin about switchin to PS3 based on the GS review since they tend to be biased against it, the fact that they ranked it higher seems like a big deal, but no other reviews I've read say one way or another

the blood in this game is just so silly. killed a few rats and the characters were just drenched in blood.

Maybe I just missed it while skimming through seven pages of this but I noticed PC version has a generally better rating than the PS3. I can't visit the game review websites at work (yet oddly I can read BG) or else I'd read the reviews myself.

Anyways, question is: Why is the PC version getting better reviews than PS3? Is it the graphics or what? I dunno which version I want.

The graphics are a little better than the PS3 version and the interface is a little more friendly to this type of game. Also the zoom out overlook of the landscape as well.

PC version has a few different options in battle and such. You can change your viewpoint and zoom the camera in the PC version, whereas in the console versions, you're limited to the over-the-shoulder view of your currently controlled character. Other than that, the 360 version has less impressive visuals and less of a color palette than the PS3 and PC versions.

That's what the reviews say anyway, I have yet to buy this game, probably getting it for PS3 through the Gamestop Trade 2 deal.

Interesting to see the variation in quality with PC coming out on top, when the recent BioWare games were console-biased if anything. Can't wait to get home, it's apparently already unlocked on Steam and I have my copy preloaded and ready to go.
