ok so i somehow allienated the elf vendor who has 99x elfroots

so im pretty fucked without having wynne yet or w/o having any other kind of healing without farming 1/2 elfroots randomly. i don't want to make morrigan my healer. is there any other option for stacks of elfroot??

making me want to ditch my rogue run and start a war run (already beat mage)

Yeah, I did that on my second playthrough. I really don't know what I did to piss him off. I kinda made the 2 kids/lovers break up, I'm not sure if that was it. There are tons of Elfroots in the environment, but scowering for them really sucks. I was using 2 mages however, and rarely needed to use potions. My melee always had enough.

blah screw it then, probably not going to do another playthru since i like morrigan as a offensive mage and i'm playing rouge and have no other mages atm. i guess i could go get wynne at the circle of the mages.

Should be able to get elfroots from the dwarf in your camp.

How do you convert the Warden armor into dragonbone?

he has elfroot but like 10, i need 99x10 if i want to just zerg thru everything for the cheevos

Sell all three pieces to the blacksmith outside of Warden's Keep, he upgrades the qualities on all of them. Just keep exiting his shop till each piece becomes Dragonbone. Then just rebuy it.

Can you do that with any piece of armor? I know if u trade weapons to him the get 3 enchantment slots, but didnt know he upgraded the armor 2. I traded gear to the dwarf in my camp but nothing changed on it (well nothing that had extra stats on them) only the regular stuff

It doesn't work with any piece of armor.

If I start out as a rouge can I still get blood mage for morrg. ? If so how do I get it? does it have something to do with letting that demon control that guy in the circle of mage part?

No. You need to play as a mage to unlock Blood Mage. To unlock it:

Play the game as a mage up to the part where you're sent to save Conner from the Desire Demon. However, instead of killing the demon allow it to live and in return you'll unlock Blood Mage.

Once the class itself is unlocked, you can use it on any play through no matter what character class you start with.

Well that stinks I guess I need to start a mage game and go get blood mage then go back to playing my rogue.

It's not so bad. Just make a mage, set difficulty to easy and speed through. Don't even bother with Lothering quests. Head to Redcliffe asap, and sacrifice some hoe's to enter the fade quickly. Should take 2-3 hours, give or take.

You can send... what's his name in.. the blood mage you save in the dungeon of that area. If you send him in you can unlock blood mage also.

No, I unlocked it on mage as I wasn't going to spec into blood mage until my second specialty so I had plenty of time.

I only read it from many other forums and sources as a method for doing it. So only relating second hand info.

Every forum or source I look to points towards the main character being the only person capable of unlocking Blood Mage. I tried it myself when I was first going for it, Jowan refuses to have anything to do with the demon because he wants redemption.

Where is this Jowan i have high cunning and cor(tab) maybe i can try that first before starting then i can come back here and confirm or deny it working.

You run into him during the Redcliffe Castle Conner event. Not capable of missing him. He's the one who proposes the idea of someone being sent into the fade.

Either way I'm positive main character is the only person who can get that dialogue option from the Desire Demon. You're either asked to learn Blood Magic, sex the demon, or whatever else. Cunning won't affect another character because it isn't like your main characters stats transfer over to Jowan. Try it though, if you do manage to open up the dialogue option, take a screenshot, please.

I totally miss that...the option to unlock blood mage...oh well...I guess after seeing Jowan cut open his hand and spilling all that blood...turned me off to it D:

Just finished this game yesterday, clocked about 52 hours overall with about 94% completed. I liked the ending but I really hate games that leave you with questions at the end on purpose.

My question:

Does every possible ending conclude with Morrigan disappearing and pregnant with your child? Or is it just one of many possible outcomes?

What are these "flawed large spirit crystal"? I'm guessing they have to do with Shale? I don't have this character nor am I too interested in redeeming the code to get it.

Also...do I need to redeem to get this character to unlock the achievement for all recruit-able party members?
