Nothing angers me more than this in TF2. I thought I was the only one....

i don't know if it's due to my brain being retarded, or that I get too excited when I see an easy shot that the reaction time I take to slam my index finger down to click the left-mouse pushes the mouse aside.

Would have to be the case since in L4D it's not an issue for me at all (popping head-shots of zombies left & right), but there's no real thrill in killing a mindless AI vs. a player.

This also affects my play as I never want to use items unless absolutely necessary because I don't want to break up the stacks. I've died countless times in various RPG's because I avoid using an item when I should because of this.
I keep stuff usually in stacks of 10/20/30 etc but I'm not afraid to use an item. I'll just buy more the next time I get to a shop to keep it even. I do try to not use an item unless I'm on a boss fight, though.

I've always held down the A or B button when throwing a pokeball, of if I can't seem to catch whatever it is, I'll start alternating buttons or timing them different cuz holding down buttons REALLY IMPROVES CATCH RATE.

I'm sure I do a lot of other things that I'm not even aware of.

I tap x in hopes of a counterattack in an rpg when I'm attacked.

Holy shit, yes. I did this too! Thank god for the Turbo feature or whatever it was called that let you speed up battles and auto do shit. I always just had her Pray to restore mp/hp to my entire party in battles.

    I just jump too much.

It's my main weakness in a lot of fighting games.
Only when I have the impression it goes faster, or at least, at the same speed.

On topic, Xbox controller have a square, triangle, X and circle.

Lets see, of the ones so far I'm guilty of:
Stacking items in 5 or 10 increments and hoarding shit I'll never use.

Obsessive reloading regardless of number of shots fired.

Hitting the confirm button mid-attack to try and land a crit in RPGs.

Overwriting the same save multiple times in the space of a minute because I can't remember if I just saved.

I also play bad games through to the end but I rarely finish games I enjoy.
That a quirk or just retardation?

Upon buying a new game that I am very excited about (like metroids, marios, zeldas, etc), I religiously plug the game in, turn it on, and watch through all the demos/intros at the title screen while fully reading through the manual before ever touching the controller. It drives my girlfriend nuts when we get something she wants to play/watch.

On the subject, my girlfriend, when really attached to a game, she procrastinates like no one else to finish it. She is still on the final leg of FF12 because she loved it so much and doesn't want it to be over. Completed all the hunts and skypirateden trophies ages ago and refuses to beat it.

amen. my friends almost never reload when we're playing tf2, and when i watch them i just scream "PRESS R GODDAMMIT" because they always die cause they have no bullets =( reloading is a must in games especially if you're not even near anyone >_>

I'm the same way. Watching people with even a single bullet gone run around willy nilly without reloading is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I tap my fingers in the beat of the music in whatever game I'm playing. Because of this, the right side of my silver PS2 controller is missing a big chunk of the silver-colored coating on it <_< And also the areas below both analog sticks. Lol. I love me some good video game music I can tap my fingers to. Sometimes I mash the sticks around to the beat, also XD

I also talk to myself alot Especially if it's the name of a special move or something. I've been playing the Tales of Destiny remake (JP onry) for PS2 lately and I can't stop saying "SOURYUURENGAZAN" XD

my weird gaming quirk? I hate changing discs. which means I play one game at a time, unless I can get around changing disks (hi2u PSN games <333333)

that is unless I'm playing games with friends or something.

Item hoarding, as well as a desire (not compulsion) to have multiples of 5 or 10 of the item in question. I'm also a compulsive reloader, and in games like Mass Effect I'll hit r and genuinely get irritated for a second thinking i missed the key.

I end up playing RPGs with huge notebooks to keep track of items/sidequests/minigames, usually I'll make 1 page for each character and write down what weapons/skills they acquire as well.

For FF12 I had this elaborate notebook and inventory management system to make sure I didn't miss anything from the bazaar, lol.

I refer to everything by Playstation controls

Every time I play Legend of Dragoon I overlevel additions more each time

I'm good at guessing the correct way through a dungeon

I play all games much much better if I'm not paying attention

I've determined I can play Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons mostly not watching the screen

This a thousand times over. C&C3 was always a steamroller with mamoths on GDI.
