    Pixar's "Up"

Pixar's 3-D animated film "Up" just came out today to the public. It has achieved many great reviews, just as most Pixar films have gained in the past.

The 3-D aspect wasn't as thrilling as I was expecting considering the only other one I had seen was Monsters Vs. Aliens. It still gives you quite an amazing perspective, however (especially in scenes where you get vertigo). This movie has a very fascinating story and plot with equal amounts of laughter and sorrow. Like many Pixar movies in the past, you will leave the theatre with a big smile.

    That's for TS3.

The movie was amazing! Saddest intro I have ever seen though. But being a huge dog person, I got a huge kick from Doug. And the bird, bahahaha.

Seeing this in 3-D tomorrow, my first full 3-D film! Bummed to hear it wasn't as thrilling as you'd expected... but I guess I have no expectations going in since it's my first.

Don't take the "not thrilling" aspect to be about the movie itself. I think for first timers it will be a great experience. I just felt there weren't enough scenes that captivated the viewers with the amazing perspective of three dimensional images.

I saw Bolt in 3-D and it was interesting, but when I saw Coraline in 3-D it gave me a headache like you would not believe. I couldn't watch it for more than a few minutes with the 3-D glasses on before I had to take them off.

Beowulf in 3D was my only 3D movie otherwise, it was pretty good, really looking forward to James Cameron since I think he is going to push the new 3D stuff to its limits

    I was bored...
Not a fan of seeing movies in 3D cause it has the potential to make your head hurt as someone said earlier about Caroline in 3D.

Made the purposeful choice to see it in 2d. I'm glad I did, I would actually bet 3d could hurt the experience of seeing this. Anyway, great movie, I left with a huge smile on my face. Pixar sure knows how to make you feel.

You mean not enough of the cheesy "THERE'S A BALL POPPING OUT OF THE SCREEN RIGHT AT YOUR FACE OMG WOW"? I think we can live without that.

Movie was incredible, 10/10, Pixar's done it again. It's unfair how good these guys are at making movies; they told as much story in the first 15 minutes as most movies tell in 1h30. Not only that, but it was the funniest, most emotionally touching, and most thrilling movie I've seen this year.

Nah what I meant was that I didn't feel like I was part of the movie (not IN YO FACE style though). It's hard for me to define since it's a new concept for watching film I guess.

I wholeheartedly agree with the rest of your post, and it will probably be an easy Oscar win for best animated film (why won't they allow these films to get nominated for best movie...) The short that went along with it was very good as well.

Just took my little brother and my cousin to see it. I actually found myself getting tears in my eyes during a few parts, so I had to think of manly and legendary things, like Europe's Final Countdown, for example.

No, but really, was a pretty good watch stroy wise, even for a 20 year old.

How good compared to Wall-E? Even if it's half as good I will try to see it.

I thought Wall-E was boring I'm not saying it was bad, but I wouldn't care to see it again.
