Wall-E and Finding Nemo are my least favs. "Up" is in the middle; I think it was good, but it was missing a little something.. and I didn't care for the bad guy.

Loved every second of the movie. I cried within the first 10 minutes, and I don't think that any movie has ever been able to do that to me before.

    It was near perfect.

Just saw this tonight (in 2D, sadly) and it was incredible. Kind of makes me think i missed something truly special not seeing it in 3D, but it was still A++.

Saw it in 3D at the first matinee showing Friday. I am a lover of all Pixar films and Up was no different. I am so glad I went to go see it. The 3D wasn't the type of 3D that gives you a headache, it just makes the movie that much more awesome imo.

Still waiting to take my little cousin to see it. Even though these movies are getting better, I'm not comfortable enough to not look like I was forced to see a pixar flick.

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

Movie was incredible, 10/10, Pixar's done it again. It's unfair how good these guys are at making movies; they told as much story in the first 15 minutes as most movies tell in 1h30. Not only that, but it was the funniest, most emotionally touching, and most thrilling movie I've seen this year.
    100X this^

Everytime I see a pixar film I leave it thinking they have the most amazing people on their team. It is just astounding how everytime they can come up with a new original story and make it perfect.

Also this^ I think I had tears maybe 4 times during the movie and most of those were at the start. To be able to create that much emotion that quickly says something. What says it even more is that they could make those tears come, then laughter, then tears again with a flip of the dime is extremely well storytelling.

    On an unrelated note: Anyone else have to buy 3d glasses again if they already had some? We got some when we went to Monsters Vs. Aliens and saved them for Up, but theatre made us buy a new set. -.-;

I hope this won't stay as policy since it seems all 3d animated movies are going to be shown in 3d now...that's a fuckton of glasses.

I enjoyed Coraline and found it the best of the recent 3D movies that have been released recently in terms of the 3D effects they used throughout the film.
I'm looking forward to seeing UP but I don't know why the UK release is over 4 months away. ><

They make you buy glasses but ask you to recycle them back to the theatre. It's annoying especially when I have to spend an extra 5 dollars on a ticket. I just recycle them knowing that even though I keep them I'll still have to pay an inflated price. That's my only gripe about 3-D, but it's the theatre's problem not the developers imo.

Pay for the regular ticket. Sneak into 3-D. Movies are so crowded on peak weekend nights, and for the most part, the teenage riddled staff don't care enough to enforce you sneaking into a movie.

But still pay for the regular ticket, you mooch.

oddly enough our theatre doesn't have the 2-d as an option.

Wow your theaters suck.. the 3D ticket price was no different then 2D.

ontopic though I liked how they did it, very few cheap OMG ITS COMING TOWARDS THE AUDIENCE gags and overall it had me at the verge of bawling half the time then just as I'd start to calm down they'd do something touching again :\

also I am so busting out random "SQUIRREL!"s w/e I talk now..

I think for us 2D and 3D are the same price. After you buy your ticket tho, theyre like give us another 4 bucks for each your glasses

I'm gonna see it in 2D cuz my eye sight is really terrible, and every time I see a 3D movie I find myself squinting and getting headaches.

Strange, I get the 3-D glasses for free at my theater. I have seen Nightmare before christmas 3-D (3X), Coraline, and Up. Never had to pay for 3-D glasses once.

Are the ticket prices the same for 3-D and 2-D? Technically my theatre gives them out for "free" but the prices are higher.

the 2 theatres in my area that have 3D both give away the glasses for free and don't charge extra for the glasses in the ticket price, idk wtf kind of douchebag chains/theatre owners/managers you guys have lol
