Wiki is not a source of facts, it is a collection of data from other sources.

This is why the wiki tends to be trustworthy, if you cannot provide a source, you can't post it. If you post it with a source, and someone edits it to disagree with the source, it gets reverted.

This doesn't speak to the accuracy of the sources themselves, only their existence as published material somewhere online.

Scio's were editing data from published sources such that it no longer agreed with the sources.

If they can change the sources somehow, that is fair game, but the wiki depends on that verifiability rule, any fucker who goes around falsifying articles should be banned for it.

Although not as humorous as the above story, in Japan I regularly see Mormon's riding bicycles around. One day, two rode by and stopped to talk to me:
