My local best buy broke the release date for Bayonetta, it's on sale right now. Just to be safe tho, i'm not gonna pick it up and get it on jan 5th when gamestop gets it. After seeing the MS bans and shit, i'm not taking a risk of playing the game early even tho it's legit.
Bwah, finally got my HDMI cables for the white bax and this demo was the first thing I played. I didn't even realize she has a fucking badass sword until the 2nd time through. I am really goddamn shocked at how fun this is.
I'm not sure why but this bothers me. I've watched a few streams of the demo before I downloaded it on the JP PSN and nobody knew there was a katana(until one guy noticed).
Do people not press every button in a demo if there is no button guide?
I'm wanting to get this when it comes out on ps3 but I'm going to wait to buy it later next year.
I need to scrounge up $60 by the 5th
Which version should i get 360 or ps3?
Even though I love my ps3 I would say its best to get it for 360 since that's what it was made for then converted to PS3. So 360 will cleaner and brighter while PS3 will look a little grainier and possibly have frame lag at spots.
Im waiting to reserve personal judgement when I get my PS3 version, but so far IGN is the only site that has rated them drastically different. The review can be found on the prior page.
Yes the game was developed as the 360 as the lead platform, but using this logic one would assume you would never buy the PS3 version of any multiplatform game, when in fact most of PS3 multiplatform games look identical to the 360 counterpart if not better, this one was developed by platinum games for the 360 and ported by sega to the PS3 and its been stated sega has done a lackluster job with the port.
I cant wait to get this shit. Have Xbox360
Don't have a 360, so I'll get PS3 anyway. And unless someone brings a TV and a 360 and puts them right next to mine to play Bayonetta, I doubt I'll even know of the differences let alone care.
This game is gonna be too awesome to let silly things like that stop you.
Did anyone feel like the camera was really awkward in the demo? It moved really slow for me for some reason...
can adjust the speed. i knocked it up to half way. For some reason its all the way to the left (slow). Middle of the way was just fine for me.
Prolly better videos on youtube but this was the first I found:

PS3 version is more grainy. PS3 won't go above 30 fps, ever. And will drop to 22 on occasion ingame. 360 has some cutscenes at 30 fps but ingame and the rest of the cutscenes is all 60fps. Add in the fact PS3 has stupid ass load times (and no option to install on harddrive) and even load times on picking up items and you got a shitty version for the PS3, it's not just IGN saying it. Sega really did a crappy job porting it to the PS3. If you got both systems do yourself a favor and get it on 360.
And a fun fact why the PS3 demo didn't have the clocktower level that the 360 demo did, is because the level runs like crap on the PS3.
