Yeah, it isn't so bad the first time around, but when replaying the game or going for pure platinum runs it becomes a pain in the ass.
Also, need to find this OST, good shit.

That will be nice to have for the 3 hour speed run I'm trying in a week after finishing some other games.
I started playing infinite climax mode today and am pretty much just going to be stuck on it forever :/ I had struggled through hard but was able to make my way through it eventually. I just don't have the time to do kilgore glitch w/o witch time. Anyone have any pointers? I hear rosary beads + mahaa kaala but that seems like a ton of work.
I went through Hard mode with Rosary just to get myself used to no witch time. But for a lot of ∞-Climax I used the Magic Regen accessory instead (Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa never comes off). The summon-swords wannabe move in crow form is too good. Hold B and it'll summon a ton of em around you for a measly 2 magic. Does great damage and often interrupts/staggers enemies letting you combo them easily.
The butterflies can help alot if you're not good with the Moon of Mahaa-Kalaa. The Evil Rosary is a must, though, since you can't use WT in Infinite Climax, except for Climax Bracelet which drains magic super fast to be of any use in that mode. Also, max out your health and magic gauge if you haven't already.
this game makes me come a little every time i load it up. just sayin'.
Wish this shit came sooner because I Platinum'd this game already. .-.;
I have climax mode and lost chapter left to do still, I guess this'll be nice.
I know I'm late on saying this, but the boss at the end of chapter 2 is the best way to farm halos using the kilgore glitch. I get 6-9mil halos using kilgores and Gaze of Despair, try to enter WT as much you can. This is alot better compared to the 1-1.2 mil you get from chap 7. With max magic gauge, Gaze of Despair, Kilgore glitch and Climax Bracelet I get 10-13mil, this is on normal, btw. Not sure how much I can get on hard. Chapter 2 only takes 6-8 min to complete which is same as chap7.
Finished Bayonetta today. You know honestly, I really didn't see the hype or buzz everyone was talking about. I told myself maybe because I don't have the best possible version (360) but who am I kidding, it wouldn't have made a difference. Story was pretty weak, it did nothing to keep me interested. I mean even Bayonetta didn't even want to pay attention to it, she kept shooting to interrupt any boss who kept wanting to talk. Gotta love that irony, I pretty much skipped every cutscene. Gameplay of course was the only thing that kept me going, the battles and little set pieces they put you through (surfing on a missile, motorcycle ride, etc) were pretty fun. I accidentally learned an infinite (by that I mean repeat 2 simple combos) with the katana that broke the game for me. It made it extremely easy mode, so definitely not a "perfect" system like most have said. After you kill the final boss they put you through the most ridiculous time wasting shit. I'm glad it's over, I will be mailing it back to GameFly tomorrow (when the patch releases hahaha) for Uncharted 2.
7/10
Average action game is average.
lol
If you were playing for anything but the gameplay you should have expected a major disappointment. I don't think any sane person has hyped Bayonetta for its riveting story or deep, interesting characters. If this is an "average" action game then I'm interested in hearing your opinion of a good one. I'd love to play that game.
Just thought I would mention all that extra stuff, and average as in it's really no different to me than any other action game I have played, doesn't really push any limits other than my patience of how long it took just the end the goddamn game after you beat the boss.
For that last question, God of War 3, kinda sad I can already call that.
U1 and U2?
I actually send it back to GameFly for Uncharted 2, can't wait for a real good action game that will actually keep me interested in playing it. Not that they are similar in terms of combos but I mean you can melee.. ;p
So Square Square Triangle is better than everything you could do in bayonetta? I only say that because with that simple combo you could pretty much kill everything in the previous GoW games and I'm sure the next, while I'm quite excited for it for other reasons than its combat, will be the same in that regard. Yeah there are other things you can do and decent subweapons but there isn't that much variation between all of it compared to bayonetta. If we're talking strictly combat system then bayonetta destroys GoW. Now story and presentation wise GoW wins hands down. If they changed the combos for Kratos main weapon or gave him an entirely new main weapon I might see where you were coming from though.
