SE isn't going to outdo Sony's annyway. Sony might have even taken away their surprise.

I'd bet they will show actual gameplay footage of FFXIV... if the game is slated for 2010 (w/is a pretty bold announcement considering how under wraps the game has been), then it has to be well underway in it's beta testings and they should have some footage to show outside a CG. Yesterday was just a pure teaser... & I'd like to think footage of "Vs" also. "Vs" has been under wraps for all of E3, there has to be something about it they want to share

KotoR is understandable as the game was announcement not "too" long ago. While I'm sure they have been working on it for a while before the announcement, I would doubt they have solid gameplay footage to show off as you have to be careful what you reveal to the press.. no matter how pre-alpha it is

You can't really expect much from them. Tech demos are what excite them. You can write a thousand nonsense words about some gimmicky piece of crap without actually playing a game. It is not like we the reader can call them out, it isn't obvious which previous game to compare it to and we haven't played it yet so we won't know!
