Is what I'm currently using, now that I've learned that the + on instruments does affect offensive songs I'll change the instrument. I remember a long time ago when I first started playing bard, and this might have been the problem in retrospect, I was using Alla as my source for learning about jobs and that's what it told me... I think, it was like four years ago man.

I'm sure you're working towards Bard's Roundlet, try and get that + Marduk legs and you're golden. Also you won't be /nin on anything outside of birds, which doesn't need the 120 CHR baseline anyway. /WHM is 4 more CHR and /BLM is 2 more over /NIN so you can still exceed at least 110 with those changes, which at 488 skill should be enough to hit anything anyway. Requiem does suck to stick but I manage to hit it on chariots consistently with this build, so I'm not complaining.

Yeah I was about to point that only 4 and 2 over nin when you said NIN, it's really not that much. And yeah, I've been trying to get a Bard's Roundlet but I've probably only done like 3 Dynamis-San d'Orias in like 2 years (over probably like 30 Dynamis' easily). I didn't even realize Marduk's legs were good but I dont think I'm going to try to get them. Not to mention I can't do Salvage right now because I can never get anyone to do Assaults.

I always aim to reach the 120 mark and then worry about skill. Personally would change out the legs for errant/mahatma slops and put on a melody earring+1 over the loq. Other than that, if you still dont reach 120, replace the nereid with angel rings.

Honestly they're the best all-purpose legs you can wear on bard. AF+1 only wins on buffs with soft caps on them, like March and Madrigal.
