Several Mithra NPCS explicitly cite their own fur, usually in regard to some form of discomfort (i.e. such and such is making my fur stand on end or what have you)
They have fur. Deal with it. Don't believe me then just run around Windy or Kazham and I'm positive at least 1 NPC in each will mention it. They're still hawt (if not mawr so =3)
As for taru I'm not quite sure O.o but somehow I think being fuzzy would make 'em cuter, like little teddy bears ^ ~ ^
They have fur on they tails and using the term fur may just be the way they talk about their hair in general. They are catgirls the development team specifically said they don't have fur all over there bodies that and you can see that they aren't furry just look at the freaking character selection screen for the HQ model.
I'm pretty sure the Dev Team's official stance is to leave it up to our imaginations. The NPCs say they have fur, so I say interpret that however you want and stfu =3
This is an intriguing argument and all, but the most important question has yet to be posed:
Do Mithran carpets match the drapes?
I reckon they're like those Sylvanian families dolls. Very slightly fuzzy :D But I mean even we have at least tiny hairs over most parts!
Citing from NPC dialog, Windurst Mission 1-3:
Laa Mozi: Good! We are taking smoothskin's food offering.
So, Tarutaru have smooth skin, according to Yagudos. FWIW, I think SE only claim Mithra's don't have fur so they can avoid the awkwardness of manthra Furries at conventions.
Clearly the mixed signals here are intended to tell us that the best cats are shaved.
What's got sharp teeth and claws, 5 feet of stubble, and a nasty case of PMS?
...
I don't know either, but she's standing right behind you.
