I am in no way musically talented but am looking to get a PA System to bring to tailgates and outdoor parties. 99.5% of the time it will be used to play an iPod and rarely if ever a live band. We'll have a Honda generator to hook it up to and was wondering how I should go about buying it and what specs I should be looking for.

I talked to one friend and he said musiciansfriend.com was a good site. He also said I should look for something along the lines of 300W/speaker and 15" speakers. We'll be tailgating at major SEC schools so it gets very loud and would love to not get drowned out by ambient noise. Our budget is about 600-750 bucks.

Any input from people in the know? Any tips or suggestions would be great. I've linked to one system that seemed to be nice but have no experience so criticisms welcome/appreciated.

EDIT: Looking over it, would it be better for me to buy the package deal or to buy parts seperately? I don't need 14 inputs/microphones. Would it be better to just buy speakers/amplifier separately?
