I can't bring myself to drink too much either. Even in the cases where I get an open bar and I'm trying to get drunk, I manage to stay just drunk enough to be giddy and not sick. It's a talent, though I'm not sure where I learned it because I only really started drinking within the last year.

I think I get sick pretty easily but I guess it happens when I can still think straight so I just throw up on purpose a bit and then I don't feel like throwing up again and I just carry on with the night. I tend to be pretty good at taking care of myself. If I drink slowly over a long period I can do quite well, it's just the fast drinking that kills me.

exactly. i tend to drink a lot very quickly because i don't particularly enjoy alcohol, but i do enjoy being drunk and not being held accountable for the stupid shit i'm inclined to do.

I find that I don't really do things much different than when I'm sober. I have a feeling alcohol is used as an excuse for actions that are actually within the persons control. I do change of course but I don't all of a sudden get all violent with people and look for fights, I think that kind of stuff just shows what a person is really like.
