Just a word of warning, most states have laws in place regarding the importing, buying, and selling of weapons. I don't think anyone would report you, or if this could even be construed as a "deadly weapon", but it's something you may want to be aware of.

Been there before. I've made several replicas of weapons, but they're not being sold as weapons - they're replicas.

This only works one way. I can't take a Desert Eagle, paint the tip orange and sell it as a "replica" but I can carve something into the shape of a gun and sell it.

As far as weapons laws are concerned, what falls under a blunt weapon category is a bit vague. For all intents and purposes, I could go to Home Depot and buy a banister post, then bludgeon someone to death with it. Again, what you do with it is your business. I'm just selling a replica.

Just FYI to others considering a purchase: the raw casts can be pulled and shipped near immediately. It does take me a bit of time to put together a finished piece, and I currently have 2 orders on the books for those already. When you contact me about getting a copy made, I'll let you know what kind of production time we're looking at.

If I had just made the one club, probably only $125-$150 or so. Small things like sandpaper, paint, and saw blades can add up. Also, that's assuming you have things like a drill press, table router, lathe and bandsaw sitting around to make it with. All in all the sculpted master probably took about 65-70 hours of work as well.

Most of my requests are pretty custom, though I've entertained the idea of taking orders at cons. I'm just a one-guy shop though, and even through just word-of-mouth I'm already booked nearly a year in advance. I don't do this professionally, its just something to pass the time.

Looking at the older stuff, the hylian shield and master sword geeked me out. A ragnell would be straight G.

Interesting you should mention that. The RTV silicone I used to make the mold can handle certain liquid metals like aluminum and brass. If I felt like it, I could make a metal one. Steel is out of the question though, unfortunately. I can also put all sorts of other things in there, as the silicone is also food-safe.

K-Club Jell-O mold? K-Club chocolate bar? K-Club candle with 6 wicks in the spikes? All possibilities.

It looks like I have 3 orders for completed props currently, none for the raw casts. Once I get to 4 finished replicas, I'll be closing those out until July - I don't want to overbook myself and I don't want you guys waiting over 4 weeks to get your item. At one club per week I can still work on my other projects and get these to everyone in a timely fashion.

As I said before, the raw casts can be pulled and shipped with relative immediacy, so keep that in mind if any of you guys are crafty with the paint.

Lin, I'll totally trade you one of these for a Kraken Club Cosie!

I want one of those clubs but i'm insanely broke right now, and probably wont have the money till late july.
