I highly suggest if anyone was on the fence about ordering one that they go ahead and do it while this artist has them available. It's nice to have something unique that probably won't be mass produced all over the place.

However, the weight is a little heavy, so I'd have to say that when he said you need a little DEX AGI to swing that, you really do need it. Now just gotta wait for fanfest, and I'll maybe dual-wield Sword with Kclub, massive TP for CA

So in the end, if you do not have the DEX and AGI to swing it, you really... paid for a shellbuster XD

How heavy would you say, in pounds? Is it like too heavy, or just "solid" feeling?

Yeah, sorry about that again Maiev. I'd not shipped anything to Canada before, and it was a pricey lesson for the both of us! I think you'll be getting the only international KC unless someone else wants to pay through the nose like that.

In the shot you posted of the pommel though, it looks like they chipped some of the paint on the end (kind of appears a bit white at the end of the handle) this could just be the light, but of there are any damages to it I would definitely talk to the guys at UPS. I insured that thing for $200, so if there are damages they should pay for it.

I have a run of these scheduled for December. Currently I'm making 4, and that is heavily dependent on tracking down the correct gasoline pump handles. They tend to be a bit hard to find in the correct shape, and for the correct price. I try not to spend more than $80 on one, and some people want as much as $200 sometimes. Send me an email if you're interested in getting in on the run.

I think I'd rather just scratchbuild it, actually. I'm not exactly 100% confident on my ability to modify a musical instrument... Also, I don't think I could make it play "music" really. It might make noise, but just like the KCs aren't weapons, your horn would be just for show too!

Well I would say... it feels like a 2litre milk jug full when holding it from the handle. Well since the weight are mostly at the front, so it does feel quite heavy when you swing.

If you hold it at the center of gravity of the club, it's not quite heavy.

Really, you should consider a Ridill replica, once things pick up I would seriously love to get one. Oh, and you would probably make a small fortune if you made Kraken Club and Ridill shaped chocolate bars. (Other candies as well, like swords and weapons from popular anime and games, but those are the best FFXI references. You'd just have to get past the Health Inspectors...)

I got your PM here (and your email! you're persistent!) however, orders are closed until September. I have a lot of commissions to wrap up before the end of August and a major convention here in Atlanta, but after that I should be able to tackle 3-4 more of these per month. I'll post when I can take more orders.

I thought about a Ridill. To be honest, I really want a Morrigan's robe but my shell doesn't do salvage and I'm constantly broke in-game. I had considered making a Ridill replica in exchange for some salvage runs, but thats blurs the line of RMT and kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I have a commission on the books (deposit paid!) for a Light Staff. This project will likely be finished before the end of February, and possibly earlier if one of my other commissioners backs out. I gave the person a pretty good deal because I'll be casting this piece as well and selling duplicates to the community once it's finished - probably on BG as well, as its driven a bunch of traffic my way.
