I haven't really decided on this show... I almost feel like I'm watching it just because I'm paying for showtime, and I like Weeds. I'm just not feeling very engaged with the storylines yet (probably because the first three episodes haven't had real storylines yet, and have mostly been introducing characters).

The family/affair part of the plot could use some finetuning imo but the hospital stuff is top notch lol. Everytime the administrator hurts herself/gets herself high I feel as if Bob Kelso is getting clocked in the face by Percival Cox and all is well with the world.

It did its job as a finale, leaving a fuckton of cliffhangers but I'm kind of curious how they will continue this because seemingly it would have to be in real time to find out about pretty much every plotline except maybe Eddie/Jackie but yet no shows outside of BSG/Lost do real time finale/premieres... should be interesting..

Real time finale/premieres? You mean like the finale and next premiere can actually mesh together and streamline as a single continuous episode? There's tons of shows that do that.

I decided that I didn't really like the show, and at this point, I can only say that it's because it's too realistic (even if it isn't). It sort of stressed me out to watch all these... morally ambiguous characters bounce off each other.

And I really wished I liked it more. There was a lot of great stuff that happened in the season... And I know I'll probably end up watching season 2 (I mean, it's a half hour show, and those are really easy to keep up on).

I agree with pretty much all of this. None of the characters are legitimately likable, even if they are amusing from time to time. I'm hoping season two will show some improvements. If not, I think I'll stop watching it. That's pretty much the way I approached True Blood and it hasn't entirely disappointed, so I hope this goes the same way.

I'm just saying it would be extremely hard to pull off, especially since it will air a year+ from now and would be weird since her kids would be a year older.
