I'm honestly disappointed with the idea of the Jockey. The Charger is interesting as a dumbed down Tank. The Spitter is unique. But the Jockey...it's just another Hunter that can't jump as well and doesn't do as much damage.

Did they say when the DLC was for L4D for the 360? Pretty sure it was September but just wondering if they gave a specific day it would be available.

Why worry with it? Just buy l4d2 and just forget about l4d1 which is basically what everyone is going to do - soon as L4D2 is released L4D1 will just wither away into no-one-plays-me land.

I'm not sayign it'll die off soon as L4D2 is released - sorry, guess I shouldn't have worded it like I thought it would, but soon as L4D2 has had time to settle and they have their little half-off deal on it like they did with L4D1, it will. Why play a beta, in other words, when you could play a game that has the same things + what should have been added to it like was supposed to.

For variety/preference. I still pop in the older guitar hero games even though I have Rock Band and just got GH5 for my bday. People will still want to play the original maps and characters. Sure it won't be AS active, but I don't see it 'dying' for at least a couple years.

well then in effect wouldn't L4D live on, assuming people with 1 could play the 1 campaigns, with people who had 2?

I would assume so. They had the original voice cast come back in for additional dialogue for the Crash Course DLC...I assume they also were smart enough to record all the variations of "SPITTER!" they could think of, just in case they add the new ones to the old campaigns for L4D2.

Actually steam subscriber agreement wouldn't let them. They have "Australian" accounts and use aussie fun-dollars+those regional releases. They can't "legally" buy a game on the US store, etc.

(Or import US copies since the keys are region coded as well. (hi2u orange box importers.))
