yea but if you're stopping ppl who can kill it via cockblocking[ie no buyer and say buy or falls to floor, or you just toss it] you're grieving which is bannable, I'd advise againist this unless you get buyer ahead of time.

If you can afford the couple million initial investment, believe it or not chocobo digging still makes a decent penny. It really helps if you have a digging bird too.

I generally make 40~50K a day doing the altep hot and cold, drops from it are on average worth 20K, though you do get the occasional junk item, but on the flipside the occasional item worth a whole lot more.

Digging at rank 5 I can pull up a stack of coral fragments every couple days, piles of wyvern scales, and in other areas many many logs that npc for a couple K each.

Talk about enjoying the fight in /p(do your bitching and moaning on vent and msn if you must), if confronted by competition that won't pay, say they didn't do anything to deserve drops from your fight. Everything is in how a GM percieves it, as long as you don't say anything to imply you're only killing it to possibly sell, you won't get in any trouble. I sold tons of these myself <_< gave away quite a few, hell one went to a 30 brd I knew at the time because she was exping in yuhtunga and nobody wanted to buy it.. but still had to toss plenty and didn't have any problems.

I don't have a Joyeuse, which makes me bitter. That, or I can't understand basic economics. I was one of those people who would bitch at others for camping Valkurm Emperor just to sell the hairpin because it was unfair and I wanted it to use.

I solo avatars for my gil. I can get a decent 20k to 40k in a few hours time easy. And the best part is that I don't have to deal with stupid drop rates or idiot fellow players! :D

I, like almost everyone else on this site, am so blatantly insecure that when I'm not spending my spare time building up my Epeen in FFXI to compensate for my real life inadequacies , I enjoy finding any way possible to prove to the world I'm better than everyone else even though on the inside I deeply believe I am not.

It's call self-selection bias. The only people who play FFXI are socially depraved people. Yep.
