    Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien

    I'm honestly shocked there appears to be no thread on this yet, but tonight is Conan's first time acting as new host of the Tonight show. I haven't explicitly watched late night talk shows in a long time, really, but I'm pleased to see that unmitigated piece of unfunny Jay Leno gone. Andy Richter is also supposed to be involved with the show again. Conan was best when Andy was still on so that can only be a good thing. I'll also be eager to see if they do away with Leno's horrendously long monologue format, and to see how the show is adjusted in general.

    If you're like me and you never chose to watch the Tonight Show previously, it airs tonight at 11:35 p.m. Here's to a slightly less awful television landscape.

    Jay Leno isn't gone though...but yeah I'm happy to see Conan earlier.

    Leno had his moments, but I'd pretty much take him any day over Letterman. Got my TV on NBC now, just waiting for news to end. Wondering how much of the old show will wind up carrying over.

    We'll see if he starts delving into some of the old skits like the masturbating bear and such. Admittedly, I won't miss some of those, but Conan himself hasn't been particularly bad at jokes or commentary on current events.

    Would've preferred someone other than Will Ferrel as a first guest, though. Oh well.

    Seems pretty good as Conan usual is. The prerecorded stuff (in this case his ford taurus skit) is always super funny to me.

    whos your cable company cuz like every one has a recording service available now. we have directv and i like it better than tivo
