Slice is going to get dominated.
Slice is going to get dominated.
Some more info has come out. Kimbo doesn't get paid anything for being on the show but if he gets into the ufc his contract is unique for him, so he will get dat chedda in the ufc.
I bet Kimbo is off now paying to have proper fight training in preparation for this so he dont get shamed if he actually does make it into the UFC, hoping he does its fun to watch him kick peoples faces in =)
Here's the unconfirmed fighter list:
Kimbo Slice (3-1)
Darrell Schoonover (9-0)
Justin Wren (8-1)
Brendan Schaub (4-0)
Abe Wagner (6-1)
Marcus Jones (4-2)
Matt Mitrione (0-0)
Wes Shivers (0-1)
Mike Wessel (6-1)
Scott Junk (6-2)
Bobby Jones (2-0)
Jim York (10-2)
Eric Poling (3-2)
Jared Kilkenny (9-6)
Michael Ettl (7-0)
Rob Broughton (9-4-1)
Yusuke Kawaguchi (8-1)
Ricardo Romero (7-1)
Fabio Maldonado (9-2)
Lavar Johnson (12-3)
Kimbo's the only "big" name, but there's a few guys that I have heard of in there. This show should go a long way to solidifying UFC's Heavyweight division at least.
Dood Ettl is a beast. I hope he fights Slice.
Whats up with the guy with the 0-0 record? I thought you had to have a professional record to compete on TUF (at least thats what wiki says). The 0-1 guy also surprised me. Are they just the tomato cans for next season?
Slice will be taken out quick once he competes against real black belts and muy thai fighters.
Actually the guys with no records are :
Matt Mitrione 0-0 former NFL no amateur record
Wes Shivers 0-1 - former NFL 4-0 amateur record
Bobby Jones 1-0 former NFL 1-0 amateur record
Simply put they wanted fighters to have a pro record before applying to TUF, if you check their records their pro records come from organisations they previously fought in as amateurs.
I don't see why its worth nitpicking over though, it's not like it affects who's going to win the show.
Continue your quest to win one internets however sir.
