Blue Mage Nerf again?

There was an update on the 1st, and another on the 5th. If anything happened, it happened on the 1st, and might have been fixed on the 5th... But judging by recent posts, it doesn't look like it was. Our best bet is to spam GM calls in game until we start getting the automated 'We are aware of the problem and are currently investigating it.' message. I trust that a lot more than I trust a GM saying "It's working as intended." >.>

For some reason you gotta face the mob's back when casting blue magic spells with SA now. It's an annoying pain but them's the breaks.

Though i swear my damage from spells in general seems weaker now than it used to, even the big 3, and cannonball especially feels weaker.

I was looking at its back, thats what I started to do just incase.

idk, I did cheese hoarder and tried Cannonball on /war w/sushi and my hit rate seemed really low, I dunno if bug or cause he thf though ;x.

Whenever that NM starts to run out of the room, you'll have difficulty landing your spell for some reason (This has been an issue since they made the NM). I'm not sure if there is a BLU spell glitch (Or if it's just with SA + Spells), but I do notice my spells doing a bit less DMG than before. Once I do Nyzul again, I can check to see if that's the case.

I haven't /THF cannonballed in about 2 or 3 weeks, so I didn't notice this yet.

My rough guess is they changed it to ranged attack category.

If it was changed to the "ranged" catagory, then that would mean that it could be cast with a staff, with its accuracy more than likely based off blue magic skill. Has anyone tried this? I would but I'm kinda at teh skool right now.

Another thing that could be tested fairly easily is to try using it on level 1ish enemies and see if the damage on those is normal. If so, then perhaps they fucked up the defense-related attack power.

I did Byakko as BLU/THF last week, and it was working fine.
