Hokuten was formed in winter of 2004. We were the third NA linkshell on Bahamut to kill Kirin in March 2005. A great victory back in those days. Since then, we have grown as a linkshell and have killed almost everything that lives (nothing like AV or PW). We do give members weekly free time so they can do things they want to do and experience the entirety of the game. Hokuten is not as a hardcore endgame LS that does camp like crazy. But we do all kind of endgame activities. Between November and May ´08 we were rebuilding the linkshell to what it has become now… the strongest Hokuten ever. Roster:
Hokuten has a mixed roster. While many people think we are a german linkshell, we are not. Hokuten is international mixed. The activity of members of each country is just different. We have right now around 12 german members and 15 members from the USA. The rest is filled with members from Austria (10+), finland (1), france (2+), Sweden(1), italy(1), mexico (1), Belgium(1), Ireland(1) and England(10+). So right now we have around 1/3 from the USA and 2/3 from Europe.

This is not up to date, we have over 20 members from the USA now.

Events:
We are currently busy raiding everything. We get Cloud Evokers and other pop items at a constant rate.

Event Schedule:
Monday - Free day + NA Limbus at 7/8 PM EST
Tuesday – Free day + multiple Limbus or other event between 1PM EST/6PM EST
Wednesday – Einherjar at 4 PM EST
Thursday – Farming
Friday – KS, Jailers, Gods, Ouryu, Bahamut at 2/3PM EST till around 6PM EST
Proto-Omega, Proto-Ultima at 5:30/6:30 PM EST
Saturday and Sunday – Einherjar, Dynamis and other events, event times changing almost every week

What are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a greedy retard that whines for at least 43 items for his Cannonball build and bragging around gear or someone who will leave after a few weeks for not kissing our leaders ass enough. Wait wrong time... (watching too much Lost here).

We are looking for someone that is wanting to be helpfull and go to events. Patience is virtue? You won´t join us and will be allowed to lot on some items right away. At the same time there will be items you can lot for after you passed your Trial. Also there will be items you can lot before your Trial passed. Camping 2 times a NM will not give you priority on a drop when we have others that camped him 10 times already.

What do we expect from you?:
No deleveling at every event, getting information on preparation before events. No begging. Hokuten is a give and take. You put in a lot of work into Hokuten, you will get rewarded. So no complaining why you can´t lot, when you clearly skip events or out of nowhere have to log when it comes down to "work/farm", basically no interest in LS activities. We highly suggest people to download the chat program Ventrilo. We do have mandatory Linkshell Events (example Einherjar). This means if you are ONLINE we expect you to be with us, this does NOT mean you have to log on the game to attend. RL > FFXI. If you are not online, well then you are NOT online.

We expect from you that you do not participate in stealing and botting. While stealing has happened to us in the last 1.5 years, we always try to work these issues out with the other linkshells. We usually end up working this out, while a few linkshells enjoy being dicks and justify their actions with stupid excuses. Thumbs up to those willing to show respect to each other. This is what we expect from you too. Good luck with your application.

You always wanted AF2, but not join a endgame linkshell? We are capped on many of them and taking friends from members already as guests. PM me on our forum what you need

ATTENTION!
We are right now looking for 1 WHM. You can also have another job levelled, but your primar job will be WHM in Einherjar. We expect from you to handle negative status effects properly. We will prepare you well for any events, reading our forum guides and researches on your own are a must.

Beside that we are looking for one more flexible player. You do not need to have a mage job. If no mage job you must have a tank job.


Also our Einherjar schedule is more fix now:
Wednesday – Einherjar at 4 PM EST.
Sunday – Einherjar at 3:30 PM EST.

Hokuten is still recruiting. Depending on applicants playtime, we are looking for 5-10 people.
Having a support job (BRD or COR) would be great but is not nessessary.

If you look for the following items....

- Wyrmal Abjuration: Legs (Kirin): Over 10 people next in row.
- Justice Torque: Over 6 people next in row.
- Shadow Mantle/Ring: Around 6 next on Mantle and 3 on Ring.

.... it will be a long long long way for you. Wyrmal legs is not as nessesary anymore
with the last Add-On offering 8% Movment speed. If you turn to be one of our main
tanks, you will work your way up in the Shadow Item ranking quickly.
Same counts for Sea farming and Justice torque.

- Altruistic Cape: Don´t ask.
- Merciful cape: Looks better then Altruistic.

Should be farmed outside of LS hours since also under high demand.

All other items, excluding King abjurations are having no long lists in Hokuten.

We are throwing many AF2 away each month, including several high demanded AF2 from Northlands.
PLD AF2 Body for instance has no further use for us.

Limbus

Only item from Ultima under medium demand is Nashira Seraweels.
Rest has no long list.

Homam Corazza and Cosciales have a medium list.
Everything else is possible to obtain without long wait.

Odin and 3 Kings

Harder to obtain items are Hofud, Fork, Dalmatica, Adaman Hauberk and Hecatomb Cap.
In order to obtain these items you need to have a very good attendance and be equipped
properly.

We are currently looking for up to 10 people to fill our roster.
We would prefer a small group that already plays together. Please contact me if interested.
Especially people wanting to camp are wanted.

Americans are very welcome too. Please keep in mind though that our main events on weekends,
start at around 2-3 PM EST. Adjustments are possible for fairness to all timezones.
Once we have a greater american membership events more scheduled events will follow.
Please keep in mind that earlier events have advantages too, since you have the evenings free,
giving you time to do stuff in RL like hanging out with friends ect.

We are glad to welcome 6 awesome american players to our linkshell.

As always american´s dominate the EU numbers in Hokuten. Yes we are still no
german linkshell, we are international, with most events going on between
2 and 8 PM EST, which is equal to EU prime time.

With our new fresh wave of US people this will hopefully change to evening activity in US time too.

Anyway, our kills above have been updated.

We are still looking for 1 RNG with capped throwing skill
and one person with NIN and capped throwing skill.
Both the NIN and RNG must have more then this one job levelled to 75.

For me COP stuff is mainly NMs related to the missions.
Can´t fight Ouryu, Bahamut v2, Jailers, Proto´s w/o doing them,
but can fight Tiamat, Sandworm ect without doing any missions.
Categories just meant to seperate kills a bit.

If you look for Linkshell for lower levels on Bahamut, I would really recommend Cake.
