I'm seriously looking at FFXI to FFXIV, like Windows Vista to Windows 7. The first product drove everyone crazy for being a piece of crap in several different aspects and then all of a sudden all is well.

...at least that is my hope, inb4 SE crushes my dreams ; ;

This really looks promising, as it make me rethink no more MMO after XI.

Several things:
1. As many have pointed out, any sort of transfer is dumb from XI -> XIV. It's like saying, this guy spent all these time / money to get this penis implant, now that it's gonna rot, you ask for a glass jar to put it in so you can tote it around in XIV...

2. If they want to keep cryptic crap like AV,PW, and things like Bhaflau Ramparts in the game, there better be a drastic improvements in communications, not like I'd be surprised if they move AV over to XIV

3. Kings system is lol, hope they have learn that from XI, I'm sure others have addressed that.

Since most Kings drops have other sources these days afaik, they've learned that Kings is a poor system. That said, I'd still like Kings to be in the game. Just offer an alternative from the start.
