This game.
I finally got around to start playing it last week and beat it last night. The controls are loose, unforgiving, and frustrating at times, camera does go derp in close quarters (especially if grabbing on and moving close to a wall). Trico can be so damn adorable (spent a bunch of time just petting him and leading him around into things), the boy is endearing even with the controls, the gamespace feels so much larger than it is, my breath stopped a number of times for some of those platforming jumps and tower climbing lol. The music is incredible, coming in and going silent almost right when you expect it to.
I winced just about every time Trico got really hurt or I pulled out a spear. Had to pause and stop for a few minutes a couple times from him getting so beat up. I admit I got really attached... Like a big feathery puppy, even managing to sound cute with his sniffles and chuffs.
Spoiler: show
One of the more pleasant things was seeing that one long game trailer, the one where they're on that tall wooden bridge with that eye thing that has to be shoved off and it collapsing the bridge, was all in game. Playing through it was nerve-wrecking, even with it being a relatively short and simple part.
add: a ps4 pro screenshot, where i was feeling queezy at platforming so high up and then having to do one of those dramatic jumps.
