I loved Billy's little douchebag lapdog. Kept calling him to keep him aware of what Steve was doing in the movie. Walking around telling everyone a kill screen was coming. Nobody cares.
Well, he did it for one of two reasons. They said in the documentary that the DK machine he was playing on was possessed or something and getting the killscreen on it was a huge deal. Either that or he was trying to get Steve to choke by getting as large a crowd as possible to just start watching him.
I would just like to take this opportunity to say that if I ever met Billy Mitchell in person I would punch him in the throat.
I'm sorry, I wasn't aware I stated my reason for wanting to punch him. Could you show me where I did that? Yeah, didn't think you could.Because of faked drama in a bad documentary? Ok.
Brill is secretly Steve Wiebe.
Wiebe = Weave.........
hahaha
Perfect execution.
Well played.

Killing Bill: King of Kong's Nemesis Talks Back: News from 1UP.com

TLDR: A lot of facts/events were omitted to paint mitchell as a cheesy villian, and dramatize the story into some sort of good vs. evil conflict.
For example, the film shows mitchell only playing donkey kong via tape, never in person, while implying that he constantly avoided and practically hid from weibe, when they actually had played together several times before and during the events of the movie. The restaurant scene was pretty over the top in that regard, they show weibe and his friends going to eat at mitchell's restaurant, than cut to mitchell driving away, conveniently editing out the part where he greets them, introduces his family, and pays for their dinner.
The movie implies everyone is out to get weibe to defend mitchell's score, while forgetting to mention that weibe held the top score for years leading up to the start of the movie (the high score holder weibe originally beat wasn't even mentioned), and the high score he spent all that time to beat in the film was actually his own. IE: when they disqualified his score due to using a different type of DK machine or whatever, they were actually reverting it to his old score, not michell's. It also showed those people as practically breaking into weibe's garage to disassemble his DK machine, when in reality weibe was there at the time and had given them permission.

Yeah, it's been documented that Mitchell isn't as much of a douche as the doc led people to believe. Did you notice that his score was just a bit higher than Wiebe's?
When Mitchell broke it again during the promo he stopped playing right after he broke the record because he didn't want to be a dick and run it up.
I don't like him because he has long hair and wears long sleeved dress shirts tucked into tight ass 1980's style black jeans. All he's missing is the 1987 Trans Am with the T tops on it blasting Def Leppard for the image to be complete. I would strike him down with the fist of an angry God if I could.
Ok. I'll give you that one. He does at least look like a douche.
I still love the film even if some of the facts aren't entirely straight. I don't really think Billy needs any help looking like a douche. He does do nice things for people but for whatever reason he just seems like that kind of guy. Trophy wife, the self promotion, the boasting, the popularity. He's an easy guy to hate on.
cuz you jealousHe's an easy guy to hate on.
