    POL-1160 problems

    I've been trying to connect to play from my workplace since yesterday, but I just kept getting POL-1160 errors (I can surf web no problem, just that I can't connect to POL). Anyone got any ideas what to do about it?

    PS: I'm really network-internet-noob, so... {Help me out!}

    Sounds like your workplace blocks the ports used by FFXI. Almost like they don't want people playing videogames at work.

    How do I find out which ports are being used by FF11?

    This probably isn't something you can change yourself; one of the system administrators at your workplace would have to do it. Make friends with IT, or, preferably, don't play videogames at work.
