edit: It appears to be hosted on microsoft but invalid security certificates and hidden fields like that = makes me wtf. Maybe I'm being paranoid (I am, I know.) but still iffy to me ;|

No clue. Got a vista 64bit w/ sp2 and am dling it now... Seems to be legit its using the microsoft file transfer manager is about the size it should be and the key seems to be valid as far as i can tell without testing it.

If you are really that paranoid I can SS the screen with the key (part of it blacked of course) with the download in the same SS.

Did you notice the part where it says "Pilot"? It's not improbable that they'd occasionally open it up and allow you to trial their service before throwing down the annual fee to use it.

It used to be that they handed out time limited demos to TechNet subscribers; this really isn't the case anymore. However, the intended audience is people who wish to evaluate Microsoft software for businesses prior to purchasing site licenses.

so i registered (thank you btw) and everything looks great, but when i'm logged in retrieving any key gives me a time-out error

Don't grab the vista ultimate with SP2 near the bottom it seems to be a debug version and its really really buggy.

I recieved that error..... left the page on, went out to lunch and just now refreshed it. I'm now registered and downloading office..... heh

Any OS you want full key.

Seems they have gone through and revoked the subscriptions. I can no longer get new keys.
