Microsoft's getting motion sensing, and PS3 has a crappy form of it already. That shit isn't going anywhere in 2011.

Wii is built in, microsoft and ps are addons. Even if there is motion sensing in the next gen consoles i pray its not the wii-style controls, and very optional.

IGN: At your developer roundtable this week, you showed off a single piece of artwork from the next Wii Zelda game. This piece of art has not yet been released publicly, but we noticed that Link appears to have grown to full adulthood. He looks older than he did in Twilight Princess. Is that a correct assumption?

Shigeru Miyamoto: Well, the story setting for this Zelda is, of course, in a completely different era and Link is older than he was previously. More approaching adulthood. There is one hint. Maybe from the art work you can see that he's not holding a sword.

IGN: Has he lost his Master Sword?

Shigeru Miyamoto: [Laughing] I just wanted to make sure that you understand we are making it. That's all I'm going to say on that subject.

Apparently the lack of sword is important, but even with Zelda, I have a hard time getting excited over one piece of concept art.
(Though people who rage at the fact that they wont play the game because it's on the Wii are lol)

This shit isn't going anywhere at all in the near future. It is currently lost in sea of mediocrity until it becomes viable enough to give birth to controls as complex as the keyboard or gamepad. Spinning in circles.

A new Zelda game on the Wii puts the total of games I maybe want to play on a $250 console with horrible online support at two. I'm thinking a lot of folks are in this boat. I didn't even buy a PS3 until it came bundled with BC and MGS4.

Buy a wii mote and get it to work on PC. Then download Dolphin emulator and wait until Zelda becomes playable. Problem solved.

EDIT: If anything Zelda (and Metriod...) should have less story. At least if they were to cater to my tastes. A dream Zelda game would be almost exactly like the first one. Complete freedom, dozens of dungeons and areas to explore, and once you've had you fill and completed the tasks, you go and fight the final boss. The fact Zelda can be iconic and have strong moods without having much of a story shows they don't need to go into that direction.

Zelda, Super Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes, Madworld (maybe), Tales of Symphonia 2, Final Fantasy Crystal whatever, new zelda game. metroid series, The Conduit is supposed to be good, and The Grinder looks good, in a similar vein to L4D. Plus New SMB Wii and SMG 2, etc. plus there are some decent wiiware only titles. for what its worth

Yeah, I have at least 10 solid titles I've been enjoying on my Wii, and there's a whole bunch coming out in the next year that I want to check out.

At this point, if you really think that a console (ANY console) only has one or two worthwhile games on it, you either aren't trying to like that system, or have ridiculously limited taste in video games.
