best buy had, I want to say Homecoming, Vic, and Hollywood, but not sure. but it's why I think the full disc will be mostly demos of the songs on the album, plus homecoming
Wow this album is really great, does feel a bit short but the length of the entire double album will totally be worth it once it lands. I haven't solidified favorites yet, but I do really love Domino.
I'm not super bummed about Defiant/Iron Fist on part 2, I love the live acoustic/first recordings we have of them right now and I'm wicked excited for the studio versions. Just listening to different versions of Iron Fist from different shows on the 10yr Neverender tour is interesting. Subtle differences but noticeable in at least the Austin version compared to the Boston show. I haven't actually listened to any of the other ones besides those two though.
Back when they were touring for YOBR I was at the black card preshow thing where they played Iron Fist live for one of the first times, it was pretty awesome.
Still pretty much only listening to this cd when I listen to music and before that I was listening pretty much exclusively to Three since I just recently discovered them a few weeks ago while I was searching for Coheedesque music while I waited for this cd...
Re: Coheed and Cambria (The Afterman, Double album, October 9th, Feb 2013)
I whole heartedly love this album. Especially Vic. I like all Coheed stuff but I have to say YOTBR didn't get me as well as some of the other albums did. However, this one is giving me those old Coheed feels.
Its basically the entire album demo version, minus the Hollow and add homecoming. Songs are a bit different, clearly a bit fleshed out on release versions but still a cool sound to them.
PS I still have an extra ticket to the show next week in Cincy if anyone in the area needs one or wanted to check it out.
