Now I'm agnostic and I tend to have a strong taste for organized anything, but it absolutely blows my mind how some people have a tendency to believe that we wouldn't be killing each all the fucking time all over the fucking place if it wasn't for religion.

I don't know how people can't see that in a lot of the cases they talk about, when people discuss religion as a cause of wars or such, religion plays such a minuscule role in comparison to politics.

Some of the shittiest people I've ever met in my life were the teachers and administration of my christian grade school. My 8th grade "big brother" totally seperated me from my kindergarten class at a nighttime event and exposed himself to me and tried to fucking take my pants off. I got away from him unscathed with nothing more than a lasting image of his child-loving dick that I'll unfortunately never forget, but repressed the memory of it for like 15 years. The administration didn't believe me or my parents. He then went on to molest a friend of mine. The administration didn't believe him either and allowed this asshole to graduate just to get him out of their circle of responsibility. He went on to coach young children in sports, committed a variety of unsavory acts, and was finally arrested for raping two girls on a grade school team he coached. He was imprisoned, released, and is currently listed on my state's child danger website with his home address and such listed........

so yeah.

Fuck him.

Also, leaders of all levels of organized religion needs to stop tolerating the sins of their own people and condemning the rest of the world for theirs. Fucking hypocrites.
