Thanks for the candy!
Yeah, just get on their good side and they wont kill you.
And why are you the only one hearing their convos? Maybe they just really hate you and hope youll quit.
I had something similar happen where I used to work, except instead of a 'shoot em up' type of thing, it was threats against two specific coworkers (out of hundreds).
Now, don't get me wrong, I don't mind joking in the workplace. There is constant verbal threat of water balloon assault in the cubicle farm. However, this went far past that, to the point I thought the person was completely serious. His ass got in deep trouble and he was essentially told he would never be promoted again. I had no problem after telling him it was me who ratted him in. I don't tolerate bullshit at the workplace, and I told him that. He sulked for weeks after that, becoming non productive. Afraid he might try to sabotage some part of the project (which he did, but we caught it after the fact before it was a problem) we decided to take this 'ace programmer' and have him start doing the clerical work for the group. He got sick of it after two months, and quit. Was a good day.
Now, I think _most_ people who act like your douchebag coworkers are just doing it for attention, but that is absolutely no reason to risk it. Report their ass directly to the head of the company if it is so small, and insist that their 'idle threats' are making you uncomfortable and you fear for your saftey. If that doesn't accomplish anything, it's time to call the cops. People act out like that because there is noone to put them in their place.
While stocking up on guns and ammo isn't anything abnormal, and talking about it isn't so strange...what you're talking about is. Something definitely seems up. You can consult the police about it, but I'm not quite sure what they can do about it, because as a previous poster said, they really haven't done anything illegal. I don't know about informing your boss/owner (unless you already have) He might fire them out of fear, and you find out afterwards they weren't bs'ing all along.
Because obviously if they are so unstable I would want them to keep working there. The situation you are suggesting is the literal definition of terrorism.
ter⋅ror⋅ism
–noun
1. the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes.
Definitely the ultimate office politics.
Stay late one night and build clever traps. So when they come in the morning, you are ready.
Sporadically place weapons in strategic locations throughout the office like Dwight from the Office. And call Guartz, I'm sure he's got a number or two for some militants that are free. You could say they are there for a "consultation." <3 Guartz
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team.

They sound like good Americans, stop being a vajin.
That's it, I'm hiring the "A" Team lol
Yea... If they talk about planning an attack, call the feds and they will eat it all up....
If you talk with them in certain areas within the workplace on a consistent basis, plant a digital recording device nearby and record your conversation. Leave the recording in an obvious place where you boss will notice it (such as his desktop or a commonly used folder by everyone) and let him find it. If he's an idiot and doesn't, force his hand by e-mailing him the recording posing as a PI or anonymously.
I don't know these guys, but you'd be surprised how many of them are all talk and no action. I bet one of them has issues and the other is just following along for acceptance. This sort of leader-follower behavior is common in small workplaces.
Yeah, I called them out on it when they said that they wanted to take a hand grenade and throw it into a crowd at an Obama rally that was here a few months ago. I told them to stop talking about it and do it already if they want to do it so badly. They just kinda looked at me and walked away lol.
As far as telling my boss, one of these guys' temper is so bad that he gets mad and screams and yells at people and then starts punching walls and stuff. No one has ever disciplined him in any way. He kicked his chair one day so hard it hit the cubicle wall between him and me and knocked all my stuff on my shelf down on my head. I complained and my boss just shrugged his shoulders. So yeah, my workplace isn't going to do shit.
Start looking for a job somewhere else if you're that scared of them.
Start coming to work carrying a steel baseball bat. Tell everyone you just joined a new league.
Report them to the police for suspicion of domestic terrorism. My friend's brother reported him for this simply for owning napalm and they raided his house. Took all hard drives and everything.
Quick way to get someone vanned.
You realize that if you have forewarning of a crime and don't report it you become an accessory, right?
And this thread is now evidence against you for not reporting it if something happens.
You've pretty much boxed yourself in, report it to the FBI.
