I sold my account because I stopped playing the game over 10 months beforehand. I was the best tank and melee DD on the server without a doubt anyway and the shell had finally gotten to a point where I could say that everyone had everything I promised them within reason except a goliard hat, so uh... I was done.

I hated FFXI from day one, I played it for 4 years despite that.

Note that this was like back when the game was still new and the metagame hadn't nearly advanced to the point it's at now. It's kinda evident by the fact that like a good quarter of the cards in that deck are banned.
