BRP likes decks in his face
BRP likes decks in his face
not so fast kaiba, etc
The cool thing about my school is we have a 50+ kid playerbase, so the dorky faggots is a pretty huge majority so nobody can laugh at us without getting trampled (lolmagicword). We have a teacher who plays hardxxcore so we even have an official magic the gathering club. Trying to get it UIL sponsored
We never had a M:tG club because it was apparently "gambling paraphernalia", but our science teacher in high school owned a graded, mint condition set of every set through Ice Age. Including both Alpha -and- Beta.
Also: I haven't played in quite a bit, but if anyone cares to I can fire up Apprentice and get some online play going.
You DO realize Devoted Druid and Quillspike is infinitive, right?
Oh, speaking of Worldgorger:

Hmm I overlooked the remove -1, just thought it said if a creature had a -1 lol.
I still like magistrate though because then you can make all your creatures infinite/infinite so they can't just block one. And if that creature happens to be a warrior and your Paragon is down. Oh ho ho.
Other than using Laquatus to dump huge creatures to your graveyard to animate I don't see anything else special. Unless there's something funky when you animate dead worldgorger, but I can't really remember since I haven't played in ages.
oh wait. i was being dumb.
animate worldgorger, animate gets removed from play, worldgorger dies, animate comes back, animate it again, repeat. every time you do this you can re-tap your lands/etc. since they come back into play untapped. this lets you do any number of broken things.
lands aren't permanents they are lands
thats still how the combo worked during the time when it was viable in tourny play.
wait what the fuck lands ARE permanents. stop trying to trick me because I havent played in ages.
Oh, well I just picked it up like 3 months ago when Conflux came out. And I know that lands don't count as permanents now. Couldn't speak for back in ye olde days though.
214. Permanents
214.1. A permanent is a card or token in play. Permanents stay in play unless moved to another zone by an effect or rule. There are five permanent types: artifact, creature, enchantment, land, and planeswalker. Instant and sorcery cards can't come into play. Some tribal cards can come into play and some can't, depending on their other card types.
???????????? What.
The fucking bitch who hosts the tournies has been dicking over my Drove of Elves power if that is true. I'm gonna go slice a bitch.
No. Lands are permanents but they don't have color. Forests aren't green.
So who wants to play an Urza's block game?
Oh. Makes sense then. Except notrly. Forests are green n shit.
mtg's rules aren't supposed to make sense.
i will play mtg again when they make a new artifact set. just saying.
I'm down for an urza block draft. Did one a month or so ago and I got lousy pulls for my $80. 1st place guy pulled a Cradle, Hollow, AND a Ring of Gix. And someone passed a Rancor to him.
Also Aers: Mirrodin block yo.
