i quit after mirrodin.

and i dont think they're dumb enough to make another artifact set after that, urza's was bad enough, and when mirrodin's second set (was it darksteel or something I cant remember) hit and they accidentally left skullclamp in they kicked themselves in the balls. I still remember reading their apology article for letting skullclamp exist and just laughing.

Some dickfuck played an artifact deck against me today. Used some 1/2 artifact creature to play Darksteel Colossus straight from his hand without paying the 11 mana cost. Then he just threw a shit ton of equipment on it and had a 40/40 indestructable trample by turn 5 every game.

Depends on how confident you are. You might be able to own casual, good comp in standard, good to bad in extended depending on local metagame, and laughed at in vintage.

There's a reason why Zoo is winning PTQs and BW tokens is not.

I run BW tokens for t2* play me and you'll lose. As for extended....... I either run affinity or don't play. My friend lets me play his affinity deck (pretty solid one) if he can borrow a TEPS deck. But extended is rarely played around my parts, and there hasn't been a vintage tourney here yet. No one except like 3 ppl have the cardpool for it .

For BW tokens? Haven't actually played against Pulse yet, I made the deck like 4 days ago. I was in a tourny Thursday, got 3rd or 4th, had some bad draws in top4. Someone actually played a warp world deck... Kind of a bitch, but oh well. I have no wraths for the deck either, getting fixed asap.

I lost to affinity. Don't have quite all the cards I need for my elfy deck. Need some elvish promenade and wren's run vanquishers.

Was running 50% win rate against a blightning burn deck though. just depended on the draws.

Side in 4 wilt leaf lieges, fun things can happen if they play first and blightning you with 2 in hand turn 3.

Vanquishers are a great staple for the deck. Promenade is a little bit weak since you'd have better tempo doing a 3 drop like perfect or champion and leaves space for a token drop from the previous turn's perfect or a 2 drop like warrior/paragon/vanq/wolfskull if you have a llanowar. Although I will admit Promenade + Heritage can make for great accelerate if you're aiming for stompy/regal force handfeeding.
